REPTILE SCAM ALERT!!! Watch out for a guy named Andre Clay (Paypal Email: [email protected]) and Phone # 702-203-3013. He is from Cedar City Utah and spends alot of time in Las Vegas. I had done one previous deal with him about 6 months ago so I thought I could trust him. Andre had called me saying he had some high end boa's for sale. He said he was in a jam and had to give up his animals for quick sale. I agreed to buy
3 boa's from him. I sent the money via Paypal last Monday night and then the next day when we were supposed to schedule delivery of the animals I received a text(from his #) stating that he was in a terrible car accident and that the family did not know if he was going to survive. I tried to text here and there as I felt bad with the situation. The day after that I filed a claim with Paypal as I did not know the status of what I had paid for. I have no personal relationship with Andre, this was strictly a business deal but I still felt bad because I believed the situation. Within 15 minutes of filing a dispute with Paypal I received a phone call(much to my surprise) from Andre (so much for his life or death situation). He told me he had this horrible accident(in a tired and well acted voice) and wondered why I put a claim in with Paypal. After many texts back and forth for many more days the seller sends me a text and says his uncle dropped off the animals, WTF??. I have not received anything and have become quite frustrated with the whole situation. I have filed a police report and fraud alert with my bank. Keep your eyes peeled for this P.O.S.!!!! Please feel free to spread the word. This guy is a major waste of space. Thanks and have a great day!
