    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ReptileDepot.com Review (Bad Guys)

Hey Guys....

Now that the weather is better I am looking into getting my froggie some new friends, since ReptileDepot murdered his old buddies...

I was wondering if anyone can inform me of a good deal on a couple of Red Eyes...

In gratitude, I will give any company that can cut me a deal free adspace on at least 5 of the 20 sites I design and operate, and linking to your site off of the more popular ones (Better Google Ranking anyone?). I will also write rave reviews on any board I can find, to reward great customer service...

I know this is a poor man's plea, but anyone wiling to make a bad situation good would be in my debt.

I was about to order a frilled dragon from them for $159.99 but figured "lemmie do a search on my new fave boards first" and found this thread. I'm alittle afraid now, i dont wanna lose that kind of money.
 
Here is my recent experience with Reptile Depot:

Sat. 3/15 Ordered a pixie frog from their website.

Mon. 3/17 Money was taken out of my account with shipping added. Called store asking when shipment would go out. They said they would call me back. No call back.

Tue. 3/18 emailed asking when my order would be shipped. No response.

Wed. 3/19 Called the store, was told order would ship out tomorrow.

Thu. 3/20 No shipping confirmation. Called the store and they said my order wasn’t going out this week. “Will probably go out on Monday”.

Mon. 3/24 Still no shipment confirmation. No email response. Sent another email asking when my order will ship.

Tue. 3/25 Called again and spoke to someone who told me the pixie frogs are on backorder, should get them in stock in the next few days

Tue. 4/08 No contact for two weeks. Called store again and was told they can’t find a supplier that has pixie frogs and they will refund my money "right away".

Thurs 4/10 No refund yet. Called again and was told refund can take up to 10 days to process.

Mon 4/21 TWO WEEKS since I cancelled my order. I called the store AGAIN and they guy said he would look into it and call me back at the end of the day.

Thurs 4/24 No call back and no refund. Tired of calling the store and getting no responses to my emails. I just want my money refunded for the cancelled order.

Sent a complaint through the BBB. They already have 13 unresolved complaints so not sure what good it will do.
 
Keep hounding them, and ask to speak with the manager. This happened to me. It took 6 weeks to get some $200 odd dollars refunded to my credit card, but I kept calling and asking until the guy got tired of my complains and finally did it. He also gave me the "can take two weeks to process refunds," a manager by the name of Kevin I believe it was.
 
i order some supplies from them and got the run around from them at first, but i called twice a day. i got my order but about a week and a half late.

Thanks. I've called three times since and got the same response that they don't know when my money will be refunded or why it hasn't been processed. I called a few times today and tried to talk to the manager who's name is Steve but he was either on the phone or helping customers and the guy I talked to wouldn't let me stay on hold till he was finished. I told him I have NEVER gotten a call back in the many times I've called the store. He said he would make sure he gave me a call back. Well it's 4pm now and hmm no call back. It's almost been a month since I cancelled my order. WTF.
