• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I got $91 at SYR and $76 at RE. Still, that's a pretty big difference. My account usually is slightly cheaper or about the same as SYR, but the savings with RE look like they are pretty significant.
 
This is sweet! I like SYR, but I have always used both. I am glad they are up and running. $30 difference could be the difference between a sell or no sell.

We are in the process of having ground shipping for supply orders only
No live animals can be shipped ground per our contract with FED EX

yeah they changed the quote calculator I had an email about how it would change once they did something to the site. so I appoligize for stating wrong info
 
Wow, I just saw this. Glad to see some more competition out there and more options for shippers. Makes the market a better place.

what a noob am I? RE.com has no link that says "subscribe' or "join" etc... Mentions nothing but Canada as drop off etc... Am I in the right place?? reptileexpress.com?
 
I just placed a shipment with RE. After scheduling pick up and opting for delivery conformation there price was actually $2 more than SYR for the same service. These are services I always use so right now one is not cheaper than the other.
 
I just used them, I didn't have a problem with reptilesexpress, but Fed Ex dropped the ball. Apparently my package missed it's flight, and then on top of that it got stuck in Indianapolis, IN because of equipment failure. So my snake that was picked up on Monday for overnight shipping finally got delivered this Wednesday morning. The buyers girlfriend rec'd the box, but i'm waiting on the buyer to get home and see how she is. I contacted Debbie during this and she contacted Fed Ex and found out what supposedly went on and asked for it to be put in a cooler location, whether Fed Ex did this or not who knows. But Debbie did all she could. Thanks again Debbie and i've sent you an email as well.
