Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You say you paid $75.00 for the Jackson and you sold it for $85.00, but your website says your selling them for $70.00. So which one is it.....

You never mentioned a business partner until now, that's kinda convenient don't you think. And blaming it on the wholesaler is pretty easy. Don't you think you should know what your selling instead of relying on the wholesaler?

Sir in the reptile business prices are subject to change and i do not dictate the prices the importers do! what they say goes. if it was not for them then breeders would never get animals from other countys to breed. kingsnake would not be in business. Miami is the main source of most of the reptiles you guys see in the business anyway! so back in june of 2008 a chameleon that is $50.00 wholesale can go up or down in price next month or year.depends on what the importer sell them for and supply and demand! also the reason why the price are lower now on my website is i get the reptiles at lower price now then i did back in June 2008. and yes i am blaming the wholesaler in this instance because they were my eyes at the time they pick and shipped the animals to me. so if i got poor quality animals its their fault not mine. now i go personally to miami every week and hand pick my reptiles to the best of my ablity and i dont pick sick,dead or half dead animals for sale. i mean really if i did that all the time i would put myself out of business. so what your point?
 
Of course you would have just refunded the money... Small price to pay to prevent the world from learning the truth...

However... in some ways your fight IS with me (as well as the rest of the breeders, hobbyists, and keepers out there), in that you're not exactly the best thing for the reptile community as a whole... (not to mention you were blatantly RUDE to me DIRECTLY in more than one Thread...)

Regardless of whether or not this particular incident with the chameleon had ever even occurred, EVENTUALLY, someone would expose you for what you truly are. It's always just a matter of time... People who make the mistake of thinking that they can just have a business without knowing anything tend to almost always get themselves in some kind of trouble at some point.
well if you where not so nasty to me in the beginning and you would have address me with respect i would have been honist with you. we could have talked. This fourm should be about two sides of the story not one sided like it been in my case. if not this site would be call witch hunt classified! which is how this site make me feel. so i have no probelm with what people say on hear as long as its fair! but when it cross the line like it did! i have the right to protect myself tell my side of the story. you can agree or disagree case closed! thank you

I talked to you a few months ago on the phone and was interested in coming to purchase some Uroplatus(leaf-tailed geckos) from you that day. You told me that they get shipped in from California. Also, you said you would ship them out again once they came in, which the stress from double shipping would probably kill the majority of them.
 
You are a JOKE victor. YOU NEVER told me to return the cham until I filed against you and got you off kingsnake. YOU then CALLED MY HOUSE AND LEFT A MESSAGE IN WHICH IS STILL ON MY MACHINE that you wanted to ressolve this. I decided to email you instead of calling in which YOU sent me an email saying YOU were going to file bogus claims! You told me for DAYS you were going to return the 112.99 and to just give you a few more days cause you had filed to get YOUR money back from the whole saler which is why I CONTACTED your whole saler to let them know what was going on since you had already been paid BY ME WHY WOULD YOU NEED YOUR MONEY BACK FROM THE WHOLESALER THEN!BTW-you say you are not using the whole saler anymore cause they are not reliable, but your exact words to me on the phone were THEY dropped YOU cause you were "TOO HIGH MAITENANCE" in which after you said it was alright cause the quality of animalsf rom them was poor (and that is saying it nicely)after you put all the blame on THEM for not sending you the right animal. I was nothing but patient with you when I knew all you were doing is stalling.YOU GUARANTEED ME several times over the phone RIGHT SPECIES OR MY MONEY BACK! I even have that in an email. I should have gone with my gut instinct but you assured me over and over again claiming you even called the whole saler to verify.YOU said you would take the hit for the flapjack you sent me since YOU are unable to tell the difference between species. YOU took advantage of the fact that I have NEVER shipped an animal before and wit the temps being almost 100 degrees (and ME ACTUALLY CARING ABOUT THE CHAM) which is why you told me to keep it for the $31.50 which I paid you for as soon as we hung up. If there was no agreed price why would I give you MORE money??? You act like I got something for NOTHING WHEN I PAID YOU FOR BOTH AND ONLY GOT ONE. This was YOUR mistake NOT mine. YOU told me to keep it and pay you more money in which I did.
Also weren't selling flapjacks on your site shortly after our dealing for $50?? which means you were only paying roughly $25....hmmm but you say you paid $70 right? which means were taking a $20 hit on each one you sold???
This is a joke already. My opinions of you stands as does yours towards me, and I really was done with this and realized that I need to only focus on buying from LEGIT companies with good standings with their customers until another company came out with the similar name as yours and I did not want there to be any confution between the two. It sounds to me like reptiles plus INC not only cares about there animals but about there CUSTOMERS too. I applaud honesty and intergrity. I hope there business flourishes!

Ok. Do you buy animals in bulk from the wholesaler and take care of them until they sell out or do you sell animals first and then order them from your wholesaler?

I didn't think I was being "Nasty", just voicing my opinions based on what I had read. Respect is something that needs to be EARNED, not something that should just be given. Based on your business practices (along with poor grammar and spelling), it is VERY difficult for me to have any respect for you whatsoever...

Of course you're going to claim that everything worked out fine in the end, but if the customer is NOT satisfied, then you must have done something wrong. I understand that sometimes a business will have a customer who is solely interested in "stealing" from the business... BUT in this case there does seem to be a LEGITIMATE claim...

I do not see much of what has been said as being anything BUT fair. If you hadn't done something wrong you would have no problem proving it. If you were indeed a "GOOD GUY" wouldn't enough of your satisfied customers be on here to offset the negative reactions you've been receiving??
 
i refunded 31.50 and i charge her 112.99 for the chameleon she kept. all together she sent me 144.49 see she wanted to give me 31.50 for the chameleon at first because it was the wrong one. but i could not give it to her at that price because it was just as expensive as the one she ordered the mt muru jackson

You are a business... You make a mistake, you take the loss. It is not the customer's fault that YOU made a mistake. Do not pass the blame off on your supplier, because the supplier did not send the wrong animal to YOUR customer... YOU did...
 
well ok this is getting old! whats done is done and i dont want to talk about this anymore! if you dont buy anything from me dont! you dont have to buy from me! i am not trying to sell you reptiles. your mind is set to belive whatever you want belive anyway. so i am not going to try to convince you of anything. no disrespect to anyone else on here. if they choose to do business with me or not to do business with me is ok! like i sayed i have a customers already and as much as you would like it i am not going out of business anytime soon so get over it already!
 
hmmmm but you had me pay you anyways and told me it was fine, then changed your mind a week after payment was sent because you were not going to make the extra money on me cause you could not supply me the cham I originally ordered huh???? That sounds like a GREAT business man who is really concerned about having repeat business!!
 
Victor, my point in asking the questions I asked was to try to get it from your point of view. My next question would be did you or did you not send Debbie the email stating you were getting ready to give her a full refund?

This is a particularly tough way to learn a lesson in customer service, but you know the phrase "the customer is always right"? well it may not ALWAYS be true, but in this case it would have been in your best interest to make her happy. It would have been very, very simple. You may have even made a return customer out of her.
