• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

REPTILES PLUS IN FLA THEIVES!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!

I'm only chiming in on this because the reptiles plus that's been posting lately is Reptiles Plus in Lake Worth, FL (http://www.reptilesplus.com).

I'm fairly certain this thread is about the Reptiles Plus in Port Charlotte, FL (http://www.reptilesplus.net)

I actually live quite close to the one in Lake Worth and have been to their store on several occasions and their animals are properly labeled and well taken care of.
 
Okay, great. I had read before about the other Reptiles Plus, but I thought they already had a username and didn't know if this new one was also associated with them. I guess this is one of their other employees. Thanks for the info! I was looking at some of the animals they posted and just wanted to be sure.
 
Maybe it would be best if there are more than 1 reptiles plus that whoever is posting all the recent ads on fauna come here and enlighten us as to his connection to the reptiles plus bad guy threads or if its possible that he is a different person?
 
The owner of the retail shop has done that, Ed. And I have confirmed that the other two accounts with reptilesplus in the name (including the one above) all share post IPs with that person.
 
Reptiles Plus, ReptilesPlus08, REPTILESPLUS321 are the ones associated with the retail store.

reptilesplus is Victor, and the topic of this thread.
 
I'm saying that while the 3 accounts listed in my last post were registered from different IPs, they have all posted from the same IP (presumably, the shop). None of those accounts match Victor.
 
The other person posted his story in this thread, scroll back a few pages :D
 
Yeah, pretty ugly. If he wanted his people to use a version of his name, to make the association obvious, he should have requested that the Reptiles Plus part be used in the same form as his.
