In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Reptilesncritters.com - Thieves

East Coast, thanks for chiming in and adding you 5 cents worth. So, who actually buys from me? All sorts of people. Hobbyists, Universities, people just starting out in owning an exotic pet. You know, not everyone reads these mean spirited rants on these forum sites, no matter how influential the members think that they are. Believe what you will, but other than the image violations that I am currently working on cleaning up, it does not change the fact that the animals I sell bring a lot of joy to my customers.

Spin it however you want... but the way I see it you took pictures from people who actually know what they are doing and actually have a deep interest in the animals.

When these people caught you doing it, and asked you to remove them, you basically flipped them off and (the way I see it) your attitude was "do something about it, sucker."

Well, they did and you're here now...

Welcome to Thunder Dome.

Not to mention, most of the members on here branch out to at least 3-5 other reptile forums. Word passes quick and we look out for one another.

Since we are talking about images I thought I would get a couple for reptilesncritters.com to enjoy...

That's good to know. Mobs usually do skick together. It's called the herd mentality.

Do you really think so? I wasn't aware that our nations prisons were looking for successful business people like myself. Maybe I can teach a few inmates my entrepreneurial skills.

Wait what, Successful you.. Keep dreaming on that aspect as all you do is sit at a computer and forward orders to wholesalers/importers. Any 5th grader can do that and then some along with stealing pictures.

Stealing pictures is NO SKILL, but if its a skill you learned then i feel sorry for you.

What can I say? There is time and place for everything. Now is the time that I get fix some of these out standing issues on my website. In the end, my site will be that much better. I wanted to fix them a long time ago but I am a bit of a procrastinator and I have been equally busy running the nuts and bolts of my business.

btw, we're still waiting for your proofs of payment to those you claim you have paid for photo use. Could it be you are lying?

Lucille, are you kidding? I have nothing to prove to you about by buying images over the years. Plus, I am not going to show you the hundreds of emails from my customers who have emailed me their images over the years and give me permission. Why? Because you are not the judge and jury of me. If I am telling you that I have bought images over the years and have received permission from numerous individuals over the years, you have the option to either believe or not believe me. It really doesn't matter to me.

you have the option to either believe or not believe me.

Hmmm, that's a tough one. Should I believe or disbelieve this photo thief, this seller who sent out a lizard with a missing leg and full of parasites in the thread referenced? Should anyone contemplating a purchase from this seller believe that they are going to get anything remotely resembling the wonderful critters represented in the stolen photos?

Why would anyone even contemplate a purchase of critters from a person where you have to ask if all the limbs are included, and the parasites excluded?

Question: Do any of you actually have a job? Or is this forum and this nasty thread now everyone's job? If you are at your jobs, do you think that this constant attention to this forum would constitute theft of time? Just a thought.

Once again, you try to deflect attention from your thieving ways.
BYW, Do people have to pay you extra to get lizards that have all 4 legs?

Another tactic to get attention off yourself.

Most people on here are either Retired and or self employed reptile breeders. And guess what, they have their own animals with their own pictures to sell THEIR snakes.

Speaking of theft, Robert, I'm curious as to your response to this post:

It proves a point that it's nearly impossible to please 100% of everyone.
Except it isn't impossible to please everyone in this case. All you have to do is stop breaking the law. The problem is you are unwilling to do that and instead are trying to feed some line about how you're going to gradually cut back like some meth-head trying to wean himself off drugs. Remove all the photos that are on your site illegally and replace them with placeholders until you can put photos acquired legally on your site in their place, its that simple.

Lucille, what can I say? The live reptile business is full of these tales. Make no mistake, I did not invent the concept of shipping animals through a courrier service. Do you think that other sellers have not shipped animals with similar issues? Don't kid yourself. For the record, I no longer do business with that particular supplier any longer due to their unethical practices. My current suppliers all know the rule, ship with all limbs or it does not meet my approval. Regarding wild caught specimens, no one offers any guarantees against parasites. Captive raised is another thing all together.

Lucille, Do people have to pay you extra to get lizards that have all 4 legs? Very funny! Now that put a smile on me!

Chris,

Once again I am very sorry for this minor infraction of our silly international copy write laws. We had some work done on our website by an offsite contractor who was not aware of the limitations in using your photographs. I will take down the photographs some time on Monday, March 8th. If you really do not want anyone using your photographs ever then I suggest you take them off the internet. You will find it quite impossible to have complete control over such issues in a new digital era of social media, free online resources and encyclopedias and people like myself who do not believe that photographs or art should be copy written at all.

Thank you,
Robert Crespo

Ok Mr. Crespo, ( I use ur last name because I dont want people to get us confused) So what ur saying is that if u were to take ur wife/gf to a bar, I would have every right to take her home and have my way with her. I mean u brought her to a bar right, shes open to the public. U'll find it quite impossibble for me to resist her cause ill be smashed drunk, and in this new era of explosive orgies and intravaneous drug abuse there isnt much u can do about it.

Did u ever think about how much it costs for the cameras, the lighting, or backdrops? Or how long we wait to have the animal shed or glow to catch it in that beautiful artistic state. I mean it obviously does matter cuz why couldnt u use ur own pics? Is ur business so successful u have other things to spend the money on then a decent camera, or photography classes? Do u even physically see the animals u sell?

The reason the pictures arent free is because of the basic law of supply and demand. You want good pictures? Pay up sucker. And im sure if u woulda been polite enough to just ask, half of the people here probably woulda been happy to let u use them for free, just so they cant tell their friends, "hey thats my pic, thats my snake."

Also if all these customers offered half of these pics to u why dont u have any pics on ur site?

Must not have alot of customers....
