    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If you could not provide the product but gave her the full refund, than no one can say anything to you..... You did what was right...... If I were you, when she gets the money, I would expect an apology..... Keep it real...... LOL...... And who cares how hard NYC or LA is...... You do not always have to be a product of your environment...... Be a real man and do the right thing...... Drunk driving kills and unfortunatly it usually kills the wrong people..... Man, you sound impressionable and I'm sure most alot of us here have been there, done that. Me, however, went to the edge, looked down, fell, and rode a downward spiral for a very long time, then with much love from friends, family, my two beautiful little girls, and surrounding myself with good people, I pulled out. Rose above it...and survived what killed many of my friends. I can smile now...and mean it. I know where you are, and know where you may go. I just wanted to say this - if you have a passion for this hobby, embrace it. There's alot of supportive people that share your addiction, but it's a good addiction - the only good addiction I can think of....besides one :) but it can be a very positive release to channel negative energy that we ALL have. Don't get stuck, do NOT follow followers. Stand up, make a change - somebody close to you needs someone to look up to. Someone to help mold them....be that person. You have a wonderful opportunity to do just that (times ten) where you're at...just do it.

I'm not sure why all of this came out - I was actually going to mess with you a little bit after reading some of your replies - but I decided against doing so. For some reason, you seem reachable - maybe some of the above was meant for you to hear. Who knows, but take it from somebody who's seen it, felt it, and still has the scars that serve as reminders....a change for the better makes change good.

I know what you mean.I am just telling people how i feel because they are passing judgment on me.I am on the up and up,first by taking care of marcia who i know didnt deserve any of this.She was just trying to get geckos at a good price and this had to happen.I am pretty new to this hobbie and i am aware that stories of this nature come up all the time but reguardless of what people say or think it is true.It is good to hear from someone not to pass judgement until the end of the trial.I am sending her her money and if i was a wealthy person i would give her extra cashBut unfortunatly i am not so i cant.I just asked her to start a new thread when she gets her money that will at least give me back some respect.I asked her to put an apology but if not at least put not a scammer after all or iwas wrong or somthing.But even if she does not i would like everyone to ask her next week if she has her money.I may have came off as rude or cocky in my replies but i am just speaking what is real no matter what.Asfor the chronic its pretty much the only thing that keeps me sane.Without it i would have smashed alot of people but it calms my nerves.Once i get my thing going again hopfully soon I WILL PROVE MYSELF TO EVERYONE HERE AND EVERYWHERE TO BE A STAND UP TRUSTWORTHY PERSON BY DOING WHAT IT TAKES.So until then.

I expected to receive what I paid for, and if you had sent the geckos immediately like you said you would, then none of this would have escalated to this point.

I am giving you one last chance to be trusted, so if you really are on the "up-and-up" you will do what you said you will do. I have given you until Monday, June 21, 2004 to make things right, and if you do, then I will most certainly post on this thread that the matter is settled and you have restored your credibility.

Most people have programs that detect and delete trojans, but it may well be you who doesn;t like the apples as getting caught doing that sort of thing will land you in a LOT of hot water!

You are nothing without credibility in this hobby. Sending the money back shows you are working to restore it.
 
I personally don't understand why you think anyone owes you an apology for anything that was said here. Did you deliver the product? No. Are you taking your sweet time returning the money? Yes. You did not keep the agreement that you originally made with the buyer and you were called on it. No one has to apologize to you for that. As far as getting your credibility back, after reading your responses in this thread I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would ever buy anything from you again.

You have proven yourself immature and uncaring about anyone but yourself. You flaunt the laws that govern our country, you champion violence and drug use, and for some reason you seem to feel like we should be impressed that you can't keep yourself out of jail. Personally I'm not impressed by the supposed "tough" lifestyle that you have chosen for yourself. I'm sceptical. Most of us have been around a bit and have plenty of life experience. We are impressed by things like integrity, honesty, honoring contracts, and obeying the law. When you start demonstrating those characteristics you might get some credibility back, but not before you show a major change in attitude.

MITCH, the fact of the matter is

you dont even have any business ethics. Somehow this seems to be prevelant with losers like yourself that drift to the herp business and get away with ripping people off and commiting all sorts of crimes short of murder.

The bottom line is Marcia sent you money in advance in good faith. The very least you could have done was to make an attempt to contact her rather than wait until it came to the BOI. Do yourself a favor, and find another avocation, because if its forgiveness you are looking for, you will find unsympathetic ears at this site.

I really don't know why I got soft on this one. When I originally read a few of his replies I was ready to pounce but for some reason I thought a few words of encouragement would prove to do more good than harm. I knew he'd be getting it hard from both sides :) and I hope it didn't read like I was making light of Marcia's situation, cuz' I most definently was not, and in my book -no apologies are needed from her by any means. She handled the whole ordeal with 100% proffessionalism. It sounds like smokedopeandrap sent the money, and hopefully we'll have another happy ending here considering the circumstances.

When I read the first part of your reply to my post I thought you took it to heart, but then you throw in the threat of trojans....do yourself and all of us a favor - and read it one more time. Maybe it will sink in a little deeper - if not, I think you should most definently read IvIountainman's one more time - he's serious, and he's being straight up with you.

Do two wrongs make a right? The above statement seems to allude to illegal activity as well. Furthermore, the individual has stated in this public forum that he has sent the money order in the mail. Why not afford the person the opportunity to make good on their word? I have seen how Mr. Garlow has responded and I do not agree with choice of wording, but the man has been subjected to artillery from all sides. Again, I say we give the man the opportunity to make good on his word. If the money order does not arrive on 21 June, like Ms. McGuiness(sorry if i got your spelling wrong) has requested, then Mr. Garlow is fair game.

And it would seem that you are setting behind a rather hefty firewall as all pings and traceroutes bounce back as request timed out.....or maybe your dNs server is down?
