• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I had my doubts but once I assembled them and used one to ship a decent priced animal, all doubts disappeared.

These boxes are not only thick but the insulation is thick as well (1 inch) and it is cut so that you have it on the bottom, all the sides, and the top.

Can't go wrong with these.

Here is the website. www.reptipack.com

This is good to know, but I do not see on their site what sizes and prices they have, and am concerned that they make this claim:
DHL: Prohibits the shipping of all live animals.
FedEx: Prohibits the shipping of live animals, including birds, reptiles and fish, except via their Live Animal Desk
UPS: Forbids the shipping of reptiles and amphibians.
...which is not correct.

There is nothing more annoying than someone that doesn't post a price, but to not even post the sizes? That would be like saying buy my geckos and not saying how much nor how old or how big!

Was I the only one to catch this:
"We had a Bearded Dragon that had to travel from Houston, Texas to a customer in Iowa in the middle of January. The Dragon traveled in a Repti-Pack shipping box, of course. What was expected to be a 2 day trip via Express Mail turned out to be 4 day journey. We do not know where our package was through those 4 days (and neither does the Post Office), but when the customer notified us that the package had finally arrived we expected to hear the worst. In fact, we were told that the inside of the package was still warm and the Beardie was alive and well."

Don't know that I'd be bragging about shipping during the winter, via the post office (which also doesn't ship reptiles), 2 day Express! Their boxes may be great, but their shipping practices leave much to be desired. Don't think I'll be doing business there.

Correcting myself that the USPS doesn't ship snakes . . . oops. Still reptiles 2 day during the winter?
