• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

under my name there's a little green light reputation 10-49 ?? Ive also seen one thats red -50 to-99 but his Trader Rating is (0) Warning Level 0 whats that all mean? why is it red?

Thanks Bill L

Reputation and Trader Ratings are completely separate.
Reputation (either positive or negative) is given on individual posts. The person with the red light and the negative number was given negative reputation on one of his posts.

To get a Trader Rating (these can also be positive and negative) someone with whom you've done a transaction must post to your Trader Rating.

Thanks, so if I have a problem with someones post I can give a negative reputation on one of his/her posts, How? and do I have access to why that person has a red light?

Thanks Bill L

To give reputation (also known as karma) you simply click on the icon of the scales in the bottom left-hand corner of the post. You will be presented with a pop-up window which allows you to enter either positive or negative karma along with a comment explaining your actions.

This refers to people leaving Trader Ratings when there has not been a transaction between the parties. Usually, this would be done maliciously in an attempt to discredit someone, or by friends trying to artificially inflate each others numbers.

Can I see who has added to my karma good or bad? 10-49?
or is that information come up in the same place as "Trader Rating"

Yes you can being a paid participant. If you click your User CP you will see who had given you Karma points and what your total points are. Seeing as you don't have over 100 posts I don't think you can give any until you have 100 posts. You start off with 10 Karma points and can either go up or down depending on who gives or takes your points.
