In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Looks like a great place to retire to. Congrats!

Connie and I have been retired for 9 years or so now. Beats working all to hell and gone.

As a friend of mine said when he retired recently, "I was BORN to retire!" :hehe:

Thank you Rich.
I appreciate it.
I’m a builder, an animal lover,a diver and an over all “water dog” so having some water works for us.
The “what’s next” thing is kinda bugging me.
I build cool stuff.
Really cool stuff.
I’m thinking I could teach a shop or a math class at one of the local schools.
We are right next to tribal lands and if I can help I’m in.
Maybe be involved some local politics or charities.
I am the guy that wants to work.
Just not sure what to do.
Thanks again.
Andy

Andy your home is gorgeous!!!
I like your idea of teaching a class. So many schools are faced with budget problems that many have pared down the 'extras' like shop, art, music. You would be a real treasure for those schools and the kids.

Ha ha Robert😊.
Might need a bit of “fine tuning” but it will work out👍.
We have been working with a realtor for the last 8 months trying to get the right place.
He has been sending us some listings that I didn’t like, maybe 600 listings.
He called a couple weeks ago and said “Andy you need to act now! “.
This owner just died ( at a hospital) and it’s 100k under under listing as of today.
So I banged on it that day and now it’s mine.
I love it.
Andy
