    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

And I tend to enjoy denial, Jim.....kinda like I keep pretending if I ignore winter, it won't ever get here. So don't burst my bubble. :raspberry

We had our first frost here this morning. I guess winter is coming.

Yeah.....I've been scraping my truck windows almost every morning for several weeks now.....so I guess the inevitable is, well.....inevitable. Sigh.

I know. It's not bad here so I shouldn't complain. We usually have our last fresh tomatoes around Thanksgiving and our last roses bloom around Christmas. Spring starts when the calendar says it should, at least that's when the trees come back.

I "did some time" in Kansas a while back, and while I loved the people there, and a lot about it, I have no desire to deal with the midwest winters or summers. Something about the hot wind on those hot summer days (blowing in those intense midwest thunderstorms and twisters) and that cold, bone chilling wind on bitterly cold days...
 
Our "5 year plan" involves moving SOUTHWARD, I just can't handle these Iowa winters. The weather particularly stinks this time of year.....today they are calling for potentially severe thunderstorms, and by Tuesday, they are saying snow and ice. ACK.

I kind of enjoy tornado season though.....we are the idiots you see out LOOKING for them. ;)

Back on topic...Maybe Dennis will get stuck in the snow and ice, see a tornado, give away all of his reptiles, and unlike all the folks I mentioned above, never return. Wishful thinking I'm sure. :bawling:

Uh, they just announced we are under a tornado watch here.....in November. It says, "Tornadoes, hail to 2 inches in diameter, wind gusts to 80 mph and dangerous lightning are all possible" . Sheesh. :rolleyes:

Where was Dennis from again????

Yes, I did snap a few. One he wasn't ready for and the second he posed for. A few others pictures were taken for me by a friend while he was wandering around. The rear view pics my friend took were for himself. Said something about forbidden fruit. See dennis, you never know who you are talking to.

He (dennis) did say he wasn't afraid of anyone at Fauna. I had to agree and said, "of course, you're a big brave man". Seems I recall his claim of something to the contrary in previous posts. I'll have to see if I can find them.

Seems he left the mother, wife, or sister that brought him to the show the last time either out in the parking lot or he took the bus (sorry Chuck). I did see him with a little girl who I hope was his daughter.

Well, I'm thinking of borrowing dennis' idea and having some sort of contest. I was thinking of a photoshop contest using the pictures of dennis. Seeing as this will have to be conducted in Hell, it just may have to be limited to those participants. Though, exceptions will be made for a chosen few if the would like to participate. Feel free to contact me if you would like to participate in this event. I’m still working this out. Have to think of a prize too.
 
Dennis. Why are you trying to buy a good guy thread. What purpose would it serve to you?? Have you changed your ideas on what a person must do to earn a good guy thread?

Just so you know, It was me that reported you for the name calling that you resorted to and you came blame me for your fine and suspension. Please remember that we are here to discuss things in a civilized intelligent manner without having to resort to derogatory comments. With the new upscaled enforcement of the rules of fauna I believe you will see this kind of behavior will not be tolerated. I am trying to keep this thread on topic and trying to resolve the issue if that is possible. I never once saw Superman resort to name calling in the movies, So if you are going to use him as you Idol and use his movie doctrine that his lives by for your signature it would be best if you try and represent his values the best you can as well.

P.S. I do believe that the Avatar that you are using is copyrighted by MGM studios and was wondering if you have thier permission to use it for your personal use? I have seen many people get BAD GUY threads posted about them for the illegal use of pictures and dont want to see that happen to you. The last thing you need would be a bad guy thread on you when you are trying to get a GOOD GUY thread.
