In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It really does go without saying that Rich is one of the best at what he does, but I just had to give him his due credit.

In my recent purchase from Rich, he's gone above and beyond what I would have expected (and I was already expecting it to be great).

To begin with, he hand-picked the hatchlings for me, and I must commend him on his taste. These guys are gorgeous! Where he really bent over backwards for me was on shipping.

As many of you know, I'm redeploying to France later this week in support of Operation Joint Forge. Even though he didn't have anytthing scheduled to ship out on Monday, he accomodated me by shipping my snakes, so I could get them settled in before I left.

Opening that box today made me feel like a kid on Christmas morning again. Thanks Rich!

Ken.... did I read that right?? They're transferring you to FRANCE??? For the War on Terrorism??? Are they afraid of exploding Eclairs or something?? That's like when they stationed a friend of mine in CANADA for the Vietnam War!! lmao

As far as Rich goes (so we can keep this in context).... I bought a bunch of adults a while ago and they were gorgeous.... unfortunately.... now there are some folks out there who are going to be competing with Rich's own stock! (Aint that a kick in the pants, huh?)

Nah, Neil- it's only a two-week "vacation" on the French Riviera. This has to be the best trip that the military has to offer...short workdays, free lodging, clothing optional beaches, French cuisine, and I get paid $2,500 to do it! What more can you ask for?

I agree. We were at the Tinley Park show, and met Rich and his wife, and I gotta say he had some nice corn snakes! I really do not like corn snakes, but he had Crimson Corns that were unreal, so I had to get a pr. My wife wanted Motleys,. maybe next year. Also he had maybe 100 corns on display, and each one had its own little water dish, with fresh water! I have never seen a vendor do that before and I was impressed.

Rich is terrific, no questions asked, and his animals are even better (if that's possible) than they look on his website!  The animals I purchased this year are even more than I hoped they would be, and I am already sharpening my pencil to see what I can afford next year.

Ken, you probably need an ex-sailor to show where all the good places are on the Riviera, right?  I think I can clear my calendar for you.  Just trying to keep the forces together guys!

Arghh!!

I can't believe that slimeball WebSlave is letting such obvious sucking up go on on this site!!  This is all a trick to make people think I am paying you all big bucks to say these lies about me so other people will throw away their hard earned money on my skanky corn snakes.

Where is the lazy good for nothin' WebSlob when you need him??

Suckups!  You're all just SUCKUPS!  And I'm 7'13" tall weighing in at 3,765 pounds so I'm going to pound ALL of you into the pavement when we next meet up!  Yeah ALL of you out on the parking lot at the next herp show, which is at, uh let's see, uh checking my calendar....  Israel!  Yeah that's it!  Israel!  And anyone of you that doesn't show up so I can rearange the furniture on your faces is major chicken droppings.

BE THERE IF YOU DARE!!

All seriousness aside guys, thanks for the kind words.

Sure hope the WebSlave doesn't delete my chest pounding rhetoric!

Rich Z.

Well, I don't know how the $%&# Rich stays on top of everything.  My wife keeps telling me I loose track easy but if I were doing the numbers Rich does every post on this board would be about my lousy shipping (come to think of it, isn't it?)!!  Oh well, hats off to you Rich I guess I should learn from the wise one on this board like yourself.

What really has me impressed is the hand picking.  I use a robot personally:)

The foots out of his mouth,
Adam Block

Hey Zuchowski.... Oh sure! You know darned well we will all be in France!.... and you want to fight in Israel?? What a wuss! You either get over to France to fight.... or we're gonna SUE YOU!! Be there by October 34, at 6:70pm Turkish time, or be square!

Although I haven't bought anything from Rich...yet,  I've seen him set up at different shows over the years and his snakes are always very nice.  Although I'm not a HUGE corn fan(the couple I have are for education), some of the ones Rich puts out are definitely tempting.  Maybe if you're in Columbia again this year, I might be stopping by to drop a couple bucks.  And if you are there and have any normal stripes or snow corns, chances are good I WILL be spending some cash. lol

Rich is also a man of his word.  I bought 25 geckos from him about two months ago, and they are beautiful.  They are also eating every bug in sight.
Rich,
If you are paying everyone for this post please let me know.  The check should go to the same address the geckos went to.  LOL!

I just purchased my second surplus adult from Rich. The first was in Daytona last year, this one was shipped to me yesterday. The animal was packaged very well in an insulated box with a heat pack taped to the top, which was still working.
The snake was beautiful and heathy as I expected! Rich is very easy to do business with! Now, if only I could find a male to match her up with! Thanks again Rich.

It was you wasn't it Dennis! I just inquired to purchase a surplus adult from Rich myself but it was sold the night before, The male Carmel Corm, did you steal it from me lol? I have also gotten animals from Rich and all were great.....Mike

I did see that one as well Mike, but I purchased the best looking Miami/Milk Snake Phase that he had available. Awesome looking female!

Rich has been great to do business with. I've been pleased with every animal that I've purchased. I have been very happy with the shipping and customer service. I know how busy he must be but he has always returned my emails promptly.

I also would like to thank him for these great sites and all the time (and money) it takes to keep them going. :wavey:

Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide

Preface: Rich, I realize that I am probably violating a rule or two here, but I feel strongly enough about this to happily accept the warning points.

I just finished reading a very lengthy post by Rich in the "Field Collecting" forum. The words were written by Rich back in the eighties and it is one of the best herpetological articles i have ever had the opportunity to read.

Unfortunately, I fear that only a very small percentage of the people here, will ever stumble across it in it's current location. I feel that I do a pretty good job of "browsing" all that is available here, but this particular post eluded me for three days.

Everyone who has even a passing interest in reptiles, needs to read this article. It cuts to the heart of some issues that threaten our very rights keep and enjoy the animals we love.

Rich, with your permission, I would like to link the article here in the hopes that a larger audience may enjoy it.

Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide

This article looks somewhat intimidating when you first see the size of the post - please take the time to read it all of the way through. You'll be glad you did.

Whew!!! I saw this, with four pages of replies already and thought "Uh oh! Someone found out about the REAL me!"........
