Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Richard Gary Williams (roach 75) Mites Come Free!!!

Yes I am well aware that viruses can travel in the air (duh) and I know mites can crawl (the reason I sprayed the floors) but no I had never heard snake mites were light enough to go in the air until a guy told me. And I'm still not sure if that's true but it's very scary if it is. and yes I'm a master at quarantine and precaution hence the reason my other snakes didn't get mites from Richards snakes. I believe I still have the email where Richards admits mites. You more patient than me? LOL. Aren't you the guy that bashed rodent pro without proof? LOL.I'm not even taking the time to answer these questions. If you wish to buy from him then go right ahead because I couldn't care less. I personally would never buy from him again for many reasons... he would not answer his phone for days knowing that there was a problem with the snakes which left me no choice but to go to the BOI, he sent mites covered snakes, he sent me a hot e check and he also lied saying he had shipped my snakes many times but didn't and wouldn't call me to tell me. He's a bad guy in my book. I'm not wasting my time with you as I can't knock any common sense into you and I can tell your not the type I would deal with.
 
dont believe that mites go in the air, or whatever you were told. mites are heavier than air. physics doesnt allow it. potentially if there was a certain spead of wind or rapid air movement that never stopped, maybe.

seems like this is pretty much done. good luck with your animals
 
So judging by this Rich should be considered decent by your book because he was willing to offer a refund with no need to ship back, but still offered the option incase that was better suited for you. He obviously didnt take advantage of you.

No he's not decent because of many reasons and anyone with eyes could see they had mites which is the whole point. He never offered me a full refund and to keep the snakes and I wouldn't expect that. LOL. What world are you living in?

No I took the explaination of a professional and followed there advice. They were wrong which in turn made me wrong which I aplogized for. They were pretty sure I was getting the "parasites" from my feeders. But if u wanna go read up on that go ahead, I aint got nuthin to hide.

Youve acted just as ridiculous in this with out even half of the proof I posted in there. Long story short it was never intended to bash just to notify people of my vets results and to let them know I would be doing further tests, but the info provided to me from them showed that I didnt need to further the tests, and I obviously needed to find another vet.

Nice try tho.

I got the proof. I have a still have the email that richard sent me saying he has mites. That's proof enough. Maybe he's cleaned up his act but I'm not willing to take the chance. You sure are putting a lot of effort into trying to clear his name, huh wonder why? oh well don't answer that I really couldn't care less. Don't let the mites bite ya where the good lord split ya, good luck.

Cuz he deserves the right to try and redeem himself based on how he dealt with ur crap.

Im not saying ur thread isnt BOI worthy, just the way u carried urself throughout it was embarrassing, and u beat him into the dirt and then some. Your expirience wasnt half as bad as many others i read.

Not sure why I asked, since I really don't care. Guess I just found it odd that you think mites are common and you are also are buying from him, I kind of was thinking you might be going into business with him. LOL Well if you didn't notice Richard and I were done with this thread and hadn't posted on it in a loooong time. Your the one that came on here to stir it back up.
 
If you order a new truck and the dealer sends it to you with lots of dents all over that makes the dealer a Bad Guy, because there was no way to miss seeing the dents. If you order a new truck and it has a small dent that's extremely hard to see then the dealer probably missed it and could still redeem himself as a GOOD GUY. The mites were extreme on my snakes and Richard didn't answer the his phone for days after I received them, he was avoiding me and finally contacted me a few days after I placed this BOI. The only reason he contacted me was because he was afraid of loosing business.

I would leave the thread alone. There's always going to be some that want to "justify" their buying (and they don't need to).:shrug01:

All readers are/should be taking note...that's all we need to do. It's helpful to some of us to note those that think that "mites are natural."

IMO, a GOOD breeder KNOWS that mites aren't "just a part of" the breeding experience, and lots of us would NEVER purchase from a breeder who did think mites were "normal."

Just be taking names..that's what a lot of us do.:rofl:

But didnt u say that he had communication issues and you were ok with that once he got ahold of you? And contacting you obviously didnt do him any good anyways, cuz u still slung him through the mud.

See this is how things get misconstrued. I never said they were natural and that they are acceptable. But they do happen and its our responsibilty to take care of it. But the people on this thread lynched Rich like he was another Ed Clark, or "Jerry Boyd," yet he didnt dam sure was anywhere near as bad as them. Fessed up by his wrongs and did right by it, it just wasnt good enough for the OP, as nothing seems to be.


Im not trying to justify me wanting to do business with him. Nice assumption. (Dam this thread is full of that) Im still on the fence and waiting for a few more references to get back with me. Im simply saying that Christina carried herself through this thread like a child.

Why should her ONE bad thread about a man who admitted his mistake outweigh the 10-20 good references im looking for?

Everyone ignores the good, and rule out the possibilty of mistakes and bad luck, and the one bad weighs heavy on the shoulders.




Christina had u acted more sanely, and respectively, and actually let it go once you got your refund, we wouldnt be having this convo. But you grounded him down in the dirt for no better reason than to make u feel better.

Dont worry about putting me on ur list cuz ur already on mine. And Im sure Ive GIVEN away alot more snakes than you ever sold and dont really care how many sales I miss out on because of my opinions. I stick by my guns.

I am fairly new to Fauna, but not new to forums. I have been reading a lot here but not so many posts. My opinion may not carry a lot of weight around here but I'm going to give it anyway :)
After reading through this thread there was a very valid complaint which has now been settled. What bothers me is the "supporters" who have been popping up, all generally stating the same things, all from the same state and all pointing a finger at the buyer. Looks very fishy to me.
Christina, it looks to me like you are being baited into continuing this thread in an attempt to make you look bad and the seller to look better. I would stop engaging in this conversation.

false, mites can become airborne like dust when they are dormant looking for a host.
