    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi, this is Steve Lochetto (LizardCane). I just want to put in a good review for Richard Quick. I purchased 2 Phelsuma standingi from him and I cant say enough good things about Richard and dealing with him. Animals are flawless, they were packed well and he gives alot of useful tidbits of info in captive care. He even offers to show you pics of the actual animal you are purchasing too. I highly recommend him and I will be getting some grandis from him in the future!
 
Although this is delayed by nearly 2 years, I also had a great experience buying from Richard. In Sept 2009 I bought a young grandis from him and it is among my favorite geckos. She is healthy and alert and has been since day 1. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

On 8-20-11 I bought an adult female Xenagama Taylori from Richard. I sent him the payment and I just received it today 8-30-11 as agreed. The packing was done very professionally. Communication was always prompt and he is a very pleasing guy to talk to. Answered all my questions and then some. The beaver tail is in top notch condition and is as described by Richard. She ate 8 crickets within 30 minutes of arrival. A great guy to do business with! :)
 
Hey im inquiring on Richard... How did you all complete your transactions? If you dont mind me asking...

He only accepts money orders and checks, which to me is a little iffy, but i understand some peoples preferences. Please reply!
 
He's legit, I completed a money order with him. More than iffy, it is mainly inconvenient. My gecko arrived, as advertised and in perfect healthy. He was great at communicating and has a lot of passion for his animals.
 
Hey thanks tony, i am definatley leaning to purchase this animal. Its a ball python at a great price because he says hes not into ball pythons, and from which i can see is true lol. Im guessing hes into geckos/lizards.
 
Richard ordered a group of geckos from me and sent a money order. I don't like using money orders but I made an exception. I received it in full and on time. Richard is a great guy to deal with.
 
I'm really glad you all posted. Richard has had several animals that have caught my eye lately, but I was too nervous about no email/no paypal. I guess scammers have made it really hard for the good guys to trust anyone!
