Today a member contacted me stating i sent them a email about wanting to do a trade. I never sent the email and the member got confused as the email had my First and Last name attached to it along with Stolen Pictures.

here is the original Email forwarded from the Member. This could of turned VERY VERY Ugly against me if this guy sent snakes first thinking it was me.

If anyone got an email from this email Please post about this so it can be traced. I have my suspicions of who it is but wont name anything without proof.

Pictures that were attached to the email are below. I dont own these snakes so if anyone knows where they came from it would be nice to let them know.

I traced the email and it bounces to China, so who ever it is in using a Proxy.

I already contacted Microsoft and they are investigating the Email account and ISP it came from.

Please if an email from me is not [email protected] then its NOT ME!!!!

I didn't change title or anything. [email protected] is my wife's
E-mail. We will try to get his address pretending to want to make a trade
and see where it gets us.

My wife was the one origionally E-mailed by this guy and she forwarded it to me. For some reason, I felt the need to check him out a little bit more. Thankfully my wife and I were at work without access to our private E-mails when I decided to discuss things more with him, as that resulted in me contacting him through Fauna. It puzzled me for a minute when his first responce was that wasn't him, but it only took a minute to put two and two together to figure out I was being scammed.

All I can say is double check everyone you are dealing with in some way shape or form.

This has definately shaken my faith in accepting a name at face value. I encourage all to double check the people they are dealing with are who they are, if they get anoid by it then you may want to take your business elsewhere.

Thank you Rich for taking your time to verify this was a scam.

Rich, I'm sorry this is happening to you. I've been the victim of identity theft before and it is very scary what these people can do. I hope you can minimize the damage.

Cant say anything or point fingers at anyone publicly without proof. As doing so can hurt their rep very very bad and mine if it is false. Thus turning into a slander case against me. So no parties i think it is will be named

Sorry, I threw a couple fake hotmail email addresses into that same search engine and it came up with the same IP. I think it's like a generic hotmail IP, but I may be wrong.
