Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I emailed Rick asking for tracking info this evening. He just replied that he has somebody that feeds his animals, and they apparently left the lid off and my snakes escaped. He offered to send me a money order and if he gets more snakes in to hook me up for free. We'll see, but as long as I get my money back I'm at least satisfied with the outcome. Will post when I get the M.O.

Make sure the M.O is from the post office at least! Make sure it is a legitimate money order. I have seen some that are not!

I would NOT hold my breath on that M.O.! This sounds like the same load of crap he told me when I called and told him that my snake was dead and the box was full of blood and body fluids-that he had a contact person down in Florida who catch me another Water Snake to send to me, free. This guy is a LIAR
and a scammer, and has no intention of sending either you or me any money orders! There will always be some excuse as to why we don't get our money or why we didn't get the snakes or why I got a DEAD rotting snake.

Yep! Not to mention animal abuser.
And catch another Water Snake? Perfect. Another helpless animal yanked from the wild & exploited for a quick buck. Don't get me wrong Sharon, my comment is not aimed at you. It's aimed at scum like Rick who abuse and kill them, then replace with another WC that probably won't fare well either.
And the buyer gets an animal stressed by capture with unknown history, age, health, etc ... if it lives through the process to get to the buyer, that is.

Kris and Paul - hopefully you will be able to update with positive news, but I personally still think the guy is scum and full of crap. My opinion means nothing, but if your experiences make others avoid this guy, even if he makes good, then I'm satisfied. :)
 
Sharon, I am so very sorry for you (and that poor, poor snake.) :( I'm still shocked by those photos. I hope you get your money back, and those still waiting on refunds or animals get them soon, and in good condition. Good grief. :(
 
Final chapter

Received the turtles this afternoon. The good news is they arrived safe and all appear healthy. The bad news is 2 of the four were not the animals I selected and after asking if there were any flaws and being told "nope, the ones you picked are perfect", one of turtles has a missing foot. I would have preferred to know this up front.

So to recap my experience with Rick:
- I did a lot of work to try to get what should be standard information from the seller (tracking, updates, delays)
- I got half of the animals I selected and half that I did not.
- I found the seller to be responsive up until the money had exchanged hands and then a definitive lull in responsiveness for followup communications.
- I paid for an extra $25 to overnight money to him and got my order two weeks later.

I took the time to let Rick know how I viewed my experience and received the following response.

"Hey Paul

Sorry if you did not get the ones that you had marked I got so many of them they all look about the same. I just hope you are happy with them


Rick"

So there ya go... These turtles will have a good & productive life from here.

Hopefully NO ONE will EVER buy from him again and he will disapear.
 
How is it possible on a turtle/tortoise that you don't notice a foot is missing??? It is not like a toe!!!!!!!!!!!! Incredible! :rolleyes:
 
Paul, I'm very happy you received your animals ... and the bonus of alive is even better!

I'm also very happy they are out of his hands and into yours.

I stand by my original assessment of Rick Cremeans and hope you and others will look elsewhere (like a known reputable vendor) for your next purchase. He's still a liar and obviously doesn't give a crap about the animals he so flippantly turns for a buck. He evidently also has very poor eyesight if all his turtles, including one missing a foot, look the same .. just another of the many reasons to avoid him.

Rick Cremeans is a prime example of why the old saying "you get what you pay for" doesn't always hold true.

I did not pack up the green water snake that dead in shipping a worker of my did that and i got a new person now. I cann't under stand why people got to lie on here all the time

You had a worker that sent a dead snake? Obviously you know that you are now needing to rectify what "mistake" your "worker" made?????
