Right but I thought you said your Extremes came from Ron as well? They stated that they had only ever worked with four different varieties of Black & White Tegu and I listed them and their descriptions above. So how and where do your Extreme's fit into that? Bobby, who did you buy your Extremes from? Could they have been less than honest when they told you that your animals came from St. Pierre? Could your animals be some of the imports from Paraguay that I referred to earlier that had a lot of white on them? Maybe yours are an entirely unrelated bloodline that did not originate from St. Pierre?
 
Bobby... honestly, the more I read your responses, the more I start to question your grasp of the subject matter. You're rallying and ranting about completely unrelated topics, posting "answers" that don't address the question and pulling statements out of thin air as "proof"

My advice... Slow down. Write a careful, calculated, exacting response, proofread it to make sure it says exactly what you want it to and nothing else and *then* post it.

'cause right now you're making yourself look like a bit of a neophyte who read some TFH books but doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground about biology, geopgraphy or logic.

OK, I have read this whole thread from start to now. I don't have a whole lot of input on the matter but did need to put in a little.
I have seen Bobby's Black and whites and his Giants from hatchlings to several months old. I have no doubt they are not the same. The pics really don't do them justice. There is noticeable scalation differences between the two.
I do believe that Bobby may have been mislead as to where these originated from. I know where he got them and I do not trust his word one bit. I saw the animals the day they came in and could see they were different. I even took pics of them to compare the scalation on the heads. When the babies were hatched they too look different.
Bobby chill out a little. I know you are upset at the similarities in the naming. You don't need to worry about it. Pics speak a thousand words and you have the best looking. But you need to chill and let this go away. There is nothing good going to come from this. You have huge beautiful animals and great babies. There is a big enough market not to be worried about it.

But you are right about waste you are wasting our time here with your inability to answer a simple question or provide any real proof to back up your accusations. Don't say it is here or there this is where we are discussing it so put it here or apologize to Rick and walk away. Randy

I agree that y'all have different looking animals and that some of yours are beautiful, as are some of Ricks. Either nobody, or everybody is misrepresenting their tegu's as "Chacoan." Since nobody can prove the origin of their animals nobody can claim to have "true Chacoan's" while calling another breeder a fraud for claiming that their animals are Chacoan also. At least not without being a total hypocrite, and implying that they also are a fraud.

Let's not confuse the issues here; in all honesty you are doing a lot for the tegus, and it's really appreciated. The only thing problem is your attitude towards anyone you perceive as competition. You criticize other breeders in every opportunity you have. This is what is perceived here by several individuals. No one doubts that your animals are very nice and maybe unique. But when you open a thread with the only objective to bring down individuals that happen to breed other variants of the same species anyone can see through it.

No Steve, it was blind, as many others I have seen the same way. As for coming forward, who better than me? I am just tired of the breeders that know the history of them hiding the facts. Somehow they seem to think, what people don't know won't hurt them. Me on the other hand think people should know the truth and than have the choice to choose if they want an animal that might just come with many problems due to the history of inbreeding so heavy.

I just want people to understand why I do not and will not breed this species. It just goes against everything I stand for as one of the top breeders of tegus. I will continue to keep my animals pure and free from any type of inbreeding.

Now don't get me wrong, I think the high white Blues are awesome looking, I just cannot get past their history.

That quote correspond to your words in the thread you started: "the truth about blue tegus". You don't breed blue tegus and that's fine but you question the integrity of those that do based on inbreeding?

You say you don't have 4 adults and we will have to take your word for it. The question is how many you have? What are your plans to avoid inbreeding if you have just one male? Are you outcrossing them? At this point they seem to be quite unique, and always according to you, the only adults in the U.S. How would you feel if someone questioned your breeding program with a thread called "The truth about the Extreme Giants".

You have everything to become an authority in the field; don't try to rush it.

You seem to be offended by my previous post, I would be too considering you are a part of it. Day in and day out sitting on the BOI looking to get in the middle of something you have no part in and throwing your 2 cents in where it is not needed, is that the integrity being brought to the table that you speak of?

I shall soon "fade", does that please you? All the while you will be sitting here looking for the newest "hot topic" on the BOI to get involved in. It is a beautiful friday, and soon I will be going out to enjoy life, not just sitting on the computer getting in the middle of things to feel some sort of importance that you must be lacking in your home life,career etc. It's really rather sad.
