rip offs-please read

ok so i purchased two emeralds from a couple of guys in fort dodge, iowa, i got ripped off by them, i have cancelled out their paypal, i have spoken to the fbi,the ifcc,paypal,kingsnake,and their local law enforcment,apparently they are known for this kind of stuff, i will share their info if anyone is curious, they do fish, reptiles,and i hear now computers? because they had two legit store fronts , and they were verified through paypal, i carelessly assumed them safe. today i posted this same gripe on kingsnake only to have kingsnake erase the posts, i have not publicly shared the info, only personal via email, i think it sucks that i get ripped 650.00 bones on kingsnake and they wont back me up a little, i had the post up for twenty minutes and got 30 replys, some of them had also been had by these guys, if you need info email me i will share it gladly as we need to catch them, or save someone from getting ripped as well! thanks for hearing me-d

post it there , and i would advise STRONGLY that you post all info you have on them .While stating your ripped off is fine but serves no insight as to who to stay clear of we need names and contact info so maybe the next person will steer clear of them.

Also Kingsnake is famous for that type of censoring, seems Jeff B thinks that if people are allowed to post the ones that use his site for ripoffs he might be inclined to have to cancel there account which would mean he would not be able to get there next subsciption fees !!! hes kinda like a country that harbors terroists... long as finger are not pointed his way they do what they want ... then when they get called out he silences the opposition... what a shame ...

Folks.... as much as I empathize with your problem, you got to admit.... I KNOW what it takes to get banned from a site??....

What makes KS any different in the way they run things than THIS site???.... They are BOTH OWNED by their respective "webslaves".... they RULE.... as here, this is a privilege, just because KS charges for that privilege.... you've got to follow the rules, or they will kick you out.... and KS is NOT like this site, but, you all know that.... Jeff is a no-nonsense type of guy, whereas, Rich is basically a sweetheart, who gives more chances.... it's like any of our guarantees.... if you go beyond those guarantees, they are then null and void (if YOU wish them to be).... it's the same with any site OWNED by one person.... it's, "Their way, or the Highway".... and YOU KNOW THAT???

After you READ the TOS, if there are still things that you don't understand, call them and ask questions FIRST??.... You could have written out that bad guy ad and sent them a copy BEFORE you posted it, they would have told you simply, yes or no.... problem solved, no harm no foul.... You chose not to do that, you chose to put 63 ads on a site that doesn't allow that.... If you've ever read THIS site, there are countless people who have said the same thing, and then got kicked off of KS, too??.... That one concept should have shown you something??.... You can't buck the system, you just won't win....

The reason everyone is soooo upset with Jeffs' decisions, is because you can REALLY get hurt by not having that "right".... it's taking money out of your pocket.... no matter how much you don't like the way Jeff runs his site, it's still HIS SITE.... Alan, you've said that about Rich thousands of times (many of them to me??.... lol)

KS is the BEST at what it does.... whereas Fauna is the BEST at what they do.... they both have TOS.... either play by the rules (as I have learned), or you might not be allowed to play at all??

I forgot one point.... KS is like this site in the way that it is NOT here to Police anything.... that's why we can say bad things about bad people, all KS does is sell advertising SPACE.... they don't care what you post as long as it doesn't violate their TOS.... Neither site wants to get it the middle of something like that.... LEGALLY, it's none of their business, that's why Rich can't be sued, and I doubt neither can KS (for matters like the one that's being discussed), although I'm sure some have tried....

I really feel horrible that you got ripped off, but you can't put the blame on an entire website, you can get mad at the owner of the site, but, in end, it's still HIS site??

i see where your coming from , but its no 63 times, and i am not a repeat offender, i offended once, i am pissed off and vented, hey your right its his site, but i got ripped by people on his site, i will react accordingly, i dont need to be chasticed for self defense i merely tried to help people, and people reacted to the info with great results for me,ive never been complained about there ive never ripped anyone off, i always make it right, i like ks thats why i am fighting this, i dont deserve it policy or not, i purchase alot, i expect the respect, they have lost mine, do you know what ks did for me after all of the leg work i did? nothing! they let these guys sell more snakes, and they did rip the next guy off because i talked to him about it today, so there you have it , sometimes the judge lets a man protect himself beyond the law, if its only about money we all need to rethink this trade because that sucks a big one! this was in the forums section and had no financial conflict, had nothing to do with the buisiness end of it, it wasnt a classified, and i slandered no one , no names -no info, nothing, i stated that anyone interested was welcome to contact me about a possible scam,thats it thats all, and they have , did, and still are, now because of the tos im banned because i gave a poop,"dont kill the messanger" seriously thats a ridiculous defense, uh... i shot the man because he was killing my wife, well what did your wife do? guilty!! d

You're missing the point??.... You have every right to vent HERE.... Jeff doesn't allow that on his site, no matter how good your intentions are??.... Then, you went ahead and berated their "people" for what they did??.... Look at the thread that was just written about Kingsnakes.com.... it was already discussed that if Jeff had come to Rich personally, and just asked politely, Rich "probably" would have done what Jeff wanted.... The same thing as what you did, Jeff did to Rich.... and you can see the outcome of both??.... When you go up to the "Big Dog that Bites", make sure you let him sniff you out first, before you get in his face.... Yes, you might be right, maybe it wasn't 63 posts, but it still took a lot of time for his people to find them and delete them.... that's a lot of work.... When I had my Commercial Art Business about 30 years ago, it was before computers got popular.... we used to do brochures and book layouts for people.... we had a job that was 250 separate "mechanicals" (pages), the person asked us to put a piece of tissue paper over each of the pages and tape them to the top of the board.... when we told him that it would cost $250 extra just for the time (the tissue was free), they laughed, until we explained that if it ONLY took 1 minute to do each page.... that's 250 minutes, or 4 hours, 10 minutes worth of extra work.... woulkd you do that without some consequences??....
Your attitude seems to be.... "The heck with their tos, this is worth it!".... Unfortunately, it isn't worth it to Jeff.... if he lets you do it, his site will soon be flooded with that stuff.... Caviat Emptor.... that's the name of the game.... Do your homework, (by using this site first), and you'll have very few problems....
