Inquiry riverside reptile breeders

Has anybody ever bought any reptiles off of "riverside reptile breeders"?

I have purchased from twice. The last time the animals started to die within two weeks of arrival. They had not been fed enough before shipment, and were too weak to survive. Expensive lesson. I spent over $2,000 on snakes for each shipment. I contacted them, and did not hear back for a long time. They never offered any concrete resolution, so I did not pursue it. There was no excuse for the snakes being so so small and weak when they were shipped.

Not trying to sound rude but why did you spend that much on your first transaction with them? & if the first transaction was unpleasant, why buy from them again?

First purchase went smoothly. The problem was on the second order. I do usually leave bad feedback for sellers, but this was really an unpleasant transaction. There is no way young ball pythons should die within two weeks of arrival, unless they are small, weak and skinny, which these were.

Tom, I did reply back to you as soon as I was told, I valued your business and would have done the right thing. You contacted me 6 months or longer after the animal died? I am sorry we never came to an understanding. I remember replying to you and a bit upset because you never gave me a chance to replace the animals when they died? If you can find our entire communication please post it. You made this like I ignored your emails? I would have mot done that. In my defense you should have not waited so long to inform me of the death of an animal. I had a phone number and you could have called me. I would have refunded or replaced the order. I am not mad replying to this just a bit upset that I was not given the opportunity to resolve this when it happened. But please post the date you received the animals and a copy of the correspondence you sent me on their passing. Because if my memory serves me it was a long long time and I was so confused why you waited so long?

I will forward the last email from you (Snakeguy46) as a private message. The heading was " Tom, I am Sorry". You sent it 5 1/2 months after I contacted you about the dead snakes. You claimed that you had over 200 emails in your inbox that you did not know were there. I do not want to continue this in public. I am out the money and do not see this being resolved at this point.

I as noted in an earlier email to you, I find it ironic you have a bad guys list on your website. At that point I had not posted any negative feedback about our last transaction.

Tom, you have attempted to call Joe out on a "public" forum. If you are willing to call him out and give no evidence to back anything up "publicly" why did you post in the first place?

Seems extremely odd for someone to lose $2k on a transaction and leave no negative feedback prior.

I don't know either of you, but if one party wants to actually prove something, feel free to post something tangible, otherwise this is just "he said, I said".

I would like to state that I've had very good dealings with Riverside Reptiles. I've gotten two male Albinos possible het.pied. One Albino proved out to be het.pied. I've bought two females that are still growing, one pied het. Albino, and one Albino het.pied. Both are thriving. I bought five possible double hets. So far one is het.pied, one is normal and I have eggs from three others.

We purchased an Albino male possible het Pied from Pat a few years back, produced albinos the year we bought him, kept a couple females back. We bred him to a Pied female, and on of his daughters we held back this year. Produced a pied from the Pied breeding and 2 Albino pieds from the daughter.
Great guy, very helpful and willing to talk. Would buy from him again.
