    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

RJ's Exotics inquiry

I purchased two alligator snapping turtles from RJ's and he charged me shipping through UPS and then sent them through USPS with UPS's address to there hub!! I got a call from UPS saying I had a package that was delivered to them by USPS!! Luckily RJ's put my phone number on the box!!!
Also packing was terrible they put the turtles in a tupperware with mulch that had gotten in there eyes when I opened them up I had to immediatelly wash them off!!

I have know and have done a lot of business with Rob and have always been treated fairly. My family and I would really enjoy going into RJ's, in my opinion he had one of the best stores around. With the amount of sales and business he did there are always going to be some unhappy people out there. He is running a business and it should be treated as such, who would post such childish crap other than there legitimate problems with his service in my eyes is just a baby. This is a place where you go to evaluate a service not someones hobbies. If someone sends you a personal email it should stay off a posting unless it is of value to someone else. Many people look on this site for information on a company in which to do business with. It is a shame that I had to go through many pages of "as the reptile turns" to get some information. I have watched Rob grow RJ's into an awesome store, I along with thousands of other happy customer are very sad to see him out of the trade. When he moved into the "garage" he was planning to go out of business because he was sick of a few people and there childish crap.
I am sure you will grade and correct my reply because you have nothing better to do with your time then get under someones skin. It is a shame that a few childish people would wipe the smiles of hundreds of peoples faces by being so childish. Hopefully Rob will have a change of heart and open another store so the many that do appreciate his effort can enjoy RJ's once again.
My ending thought is if you do not like RJ's why do you spend so much time thinking about it grow up!!!
 
did you not read the entire thread?????? RJ's exotics was horrible. I was sent a snake that had a death sentance that was missexed and was nowhere near the size that I paid for. There are a lot of people GLAD to see Rob out of the business.

I appreciate you coming to RJs aid, as I said I never had an issue with him, but im still waiting for the black head. Keep in mind, you have the advantage of seeing what your purchasing in person to avoid problems from the start as you are within arms reach of your possible new additions. People need to rely on whats going to arrive when they are several states away.

It sounds to me like it RJ's has also been on the receiving end off some not so good "deals". I did read the whole thread before I put in my word on RJ's. There appears to be a lets beat on RJ's thread, I am sure he has better things to spend his time on then bashing everyone that he has been taken by. Like I said in my earlier reply I have been to all of his stores many times, sure he had some sick animals if you bring in and sell hundreds of animals you are going to have some ill animals. Rob has many animals that he has had for long time and they are in very good health. If you have not been to his stores you can not truely appreciate what he has or has done. This thread is mostly made of a handful of guys bashing him. From what I have read it is mostly he said this or that. Some of these guys live in NH have they gone to his store with their problems? I do not think I would ever make a purchase of a animal online I would have to see it first but that is just me. If you purchase something online it is a risk you take.
If you have purchased something after seeing it and holding it then come back and say you have problems with it it is all on you. Unless you know what to look for and how to handle a animal you should not have one.

That is where you are part wrong. There are several upon several dealers on the internet that if you purchase something online, you will get exactly what was described, full in health and quality. Yes, there is always a risk purchasing online but I doubt highly that you are real "heavy" in the hobby as you only signed up a couple days ago and made your 3 posts. I have not had a problem with Rob, I have had a problem with his ways of just tuning me out when I am here all worried as I sat here all day waiting for nothing to arrive, than get cursed at making me look like the scammer. I have faith I will receive my python and all will be well, but how come it still hasn't arrived? I will check back in today,. Also, how come he is not picking up his phone, you have it easy man, you can walk to Rob and address anything, I rely on him picking up the phone which hasn't been the best source on contact yet.

You have no clue what you are talking about. When I bought a 4 foot female albino boa that was in perfect health and recieved a 2 and 1/2 foot male with a severe RI and he wouldnt make it right he became a scumbag liar in my book. I only lost 900 bucks but Rob will always be a scumbag.

If you had so many problems why just why did you keep going there. By reading up on your posts If RJ's was my store I wouldn't let you in you seam to be some what of a baby. I had to drive 30 minutes boowho.
 
No I am 99% sure of this, Rob told me his Boss discovered the other thread I started, and he works at a Stone store, will not give details further of that, and here is Stone Guy. He can be using all this lawer defense and have gotten me my snake from that end already.

You asked on the other thread if I felt everyone was entitled to their opinion.
My answer would be yes, but I have found that opinions can often be distorted as to the worth by lack of moral values, ethical values, illadvised relationships and peer pressure.
That said, if you really believe that RJ supposedly being screwed over by someone on this site justifies all of the dirty deals he did, or that the good deals he did erases all of the guilt of all of the bad deals perhaps you should ask yourself which of the above distortions is influencing your opinion,

I think your lying your a** off!! How can you defend what Rob is doing and think people are being babies? Purchases on the internet by REPUTABLE dealers usually come with a solid guarantee and are in NO way telling you that you are taking a "risk" when you buy their animals!!
 
There are complaints by some of the biggest people of internet sales and in the herp industry such as NERD, inc, Prehistoric pets, and others, are they also at the low level of slinging mud for no reason?

Didn't you state on the other thread that he offered to sell you a snake I paid for months ago? What more proof do you need to judge a persons character. I still have most of the e-mails sent and received from this con artist to show his complete lack of concern and respect for his customers. I had made plans to buy all of his boas he had at the time but he took his time finishing our first deal so I decided against it and then when he sent something I would never in a million years ask or pay for(a one eyed snake), I knew then what kind of person I was dealing with . I also still have the e-mail where he said "thanks for saying all those bad things about me on line." All I did was state the truth up to that point. I will certainly never any business with this person under any circumstances again. These kind of people are what the BOI are for. Mike

I find that extremely hard to believe since you joined this site and minutes later alllllllllllll you did was defend RJ's and even bringing CSreptiles thread to the top. How can you say you ARE NOT SAYING he is either in the right or in the wrong? I think you are being very blind with the whole story. I have been waiting a whole week of perfect shipping days for my 1 little snake to arrive.

Actually Peter, you're wrong there. This site does not give a poop about RJ, just his slimy business dealings and the people who have not received what they payed for.

I encountered RJ's lovely animals last year while at the ALL New England show. The small tank crammed with nile monitors and table jammed full of animals. I felt like I needed a shower when I walked away from his tables.

I went to Ned's facility and had a ball. Kara took me on a full scale tour even though I had no appointment and was an unexpected guest. They are a class act.....a far cry from RJ.
 
By the way, If you want to HELP Rob so much, bringing this thread back to the top did not help at all.... So you are not off to a good start in the favor of the people who made the complaints, or in good taste for the true help you could be giving Rob regarding the thread.
