    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It seems like in October and November Roachesrus stops posting and then Herpetologies starts posting roaches for sale.

yes, it did link over to where i had ordered them from, it looks like the page has changed since i was there last. i am not sure who the owner is or if it changed hands. besides that rene's signature is roachesrus.com.

i am not sure how much help i can be besides starting this thread in the first place.

It is pretty common for conn artists to change identities on here........since they both have bad guy threads be on the lookout for another alias.
 
yeah i know what you mean after seeing how many diff aliases other people have had. hopefully and new ones won't go far.

it seems like he does still come and check his profile out here, at least to see if he has any new messages. he checked last month. i know he has had to have seen this by now. not that it means anything.. i just want to make sure no one else gets taken like me and other people have.
 
I placed an order with him a while ago and had to threaten to dispute it through Paypal because he would not send my order..Once i told him about Paypal I got my order within a couple of days

Hello Everyone,
This is Darien from blapticadubiaroaches.com. I just noticed this thread, and thought I should clear things up. I have been in the industry for several years (I'm 18 now, and I started breeding bearded dragons when I was 11). I got out of bearded dragons and started doing marketing and decided to start blapticadubiaroaches.com and sell roaches... Aside from the roaches, I own several reptile sites (My Bearded Dragon, Bearded Dragon Topsites, and Gecko Topsites among others.

I started blapticadubiaroaches.com and was in need of a drop-shipper and that is when Rene Morales and I got in touch. The first few weeks things were fine and he shipped some of my orders, but after awhile I started to realize that he was a con-man. He started to ship off less roaches than I would pay him for, and sometimes I would send him an order and he wouldn't do anything about it at all. After a few months of shipping off the feeder roaches I went through my paypal account and got about a dozen orders for dubia in one week and had him ship them all. But he never shipped them and a week went by and I had all these paypal disputes...

He told me they were shipped but I only ever got one dispute resolved and the rest I had to refund to the customers. This is where things got nasty, my paypal account was shut down (after about 7 years of being a customer) because of all the disputes and I lost quite a bit of orders and customers for roaches due to this. It took me a few weeks to get my account back up and running to get more orders. Rene still contacts me to this day sending me emails asking if I need orders shipped but honestly he is an a$$hole and should not be in business.

About his website (roachesrus.com), when I first started having him drop-ship I offered to make a little site to allow him to sell his roaches under his own name too and in return give me a discount on his prices. Well let me just tell you that after all the crap he did, I didn't want to let him have his site up so I just have it go to mine.

Thanks, i am glad you got rid of that guy. I am sure things will get better now. When i first got in touch with him and bought from him i had no idea he was a drop shipper until after i had started this thread.

I hope that everything clears up for you, I hope that the sales that you lost can be recovered.
 
I have to chime in, Darien has been great to work with, and we need to be mindful of young people looking to get into the industry.

we were not all pros from day one, every single one of us had had some rough moment coming up in the ranks.

When my roach order arrived and it was not what I expected, I contacted Darien right away and I must say, his response time was under 4 hours.

He immediately offered to make things right and cover it all at his own expense.

Given a chance I sincerely feel this young man will grow to become a very reputable vendor to do business with.

How much or how long of a chance does a person need. He has been screwing people over for the better part of a year now. Sure he gets 1-2 happy customers out every 10 he deals with...Does not make him reputable in any sense of the imagination....

By the way still waiting on my order from Aug last year....be glad to see anything...but as usual he never responds to inquiries once he screws you over.

As long as he does not screw you over he will reply...the moment you question him good bye no response no nothing.

Lets hope that does not happen.

August last year?? that's not good.

I can only go by this one experience so far, he was cordial and quick to respond.

I'm sure he will be reading this, since I will email a link to the posts to him.

It's official, I'M happy with my order 100%

Darien made good on his promise and my delivery of adult breeder males arrived on Saturday.

I personally would not hesitate to order from him again.

Just a heads up everyone, I will be re-opening roachesrus.com as the new "owner" and hope to restore the name with positive feedback. I am just setting the site up as another place for people to buy roaches, so you will have the choice of ordering from blaptica dubia roaches or roaches r us. No matter which site you order from, you will get the same great service and unlike the old owner of roachesrus, you will actually RECEIVE your feeder roaches! :)

Yes, I read where he was a "drop" shipper. but this thread was started about him and not you. Rene is the one that keeps taking people. He not only does it here but on craigslist as well.

If he is no longer associated with you then that is fantastic. Hopefully Rene will no longer take peoples money and not give them their product.

I was just making sure everyone knew that I am not Rene... I just made his website for him, and I know what you mean, he wronged me so many times. But no worry, I am now in charge of roachesrus and hopefully I can get the name recognized as reputable and not as a supplier who rips people off.
