In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Rob Hutchinson - laterob

Also when you become licensed you have to put your full name on the license info so why would his letter be signed Richard but his name on his license is Rick?? Just a question :) Not saying hd doesnt exist, just wondering about the credibility of his "letter"

Yeah, Rick is not really an abbreviation for Richard, and it's not like you can put a nickname on a license... Rob, did you ever talk to the vet?

I think it possible that the letter was prepared by an assistant for the Doc's signature. The mistakes could have been overlooked by a busy vet between appointments. I wouldn't read too much into the mistakes.

None of that excuses the behavior of Mr. Dorn. Going to IBD with no proof repeatedly, tube hydrationg a perfectly healthy snake (causing injury),claiming expertise where none exist and ignoring all advice by experienced keepers and breeders is probably enough to ruin his reputation, without the mistakes in the letter.

While I see the point of not looking too much into the mistakes in the letter, I will say this, I work at a veterinary emergency and critical care center here in Az, anytime and I mean anytime we do letter for any reasons, particularly highly potential legal action letters, we always, always use letterhead and spelling and proper grammar matters 1000%, in addition to truth and pinpoint accuracy. This letter has none of that. I would hate to see a letter written to the State Veterinary Board if a client complained against this practice and/or doctor

Even if legit, that is one of the things that bothers me about this letter. The mistakes, no letterhead, etc. A little unprofessional.
I am also surprised that this vet would place himself in such a position of recommending, in the letter, a return, to the seller (within the 30 day guarantee). In general but especially without knowing all the facts, without mention of possible worsening of the neurological issues that exist with the Spider gene, without any testing what so ever, etc. I suppose it could happen but I am surprised.
The letter also has misrepresentation, of the timeline, but it could just be that it is based on a part of whatever information the OP chose to give him (&/or withhold, from him, in other aspects of this case).
At any rate, as I mentioned in the other thread (about Dorn), this letter (due to its content, etc.) would hold little to no water in a court case.

Still not honoring his advertisement.

Snake has serious wobble issues. Can not and I will not breed her.

Dealing with the credit card company at this point.

Rob is a lier, a child, and is full of hot air.

Rob Paypal has advised me to return her to you.

This week is too cold so I will be sending her on tuesday when the weather warms up a bit. I have all the shipping supplies I need and you will receive a tracking number.

I am ready to wrap this up. You are really dragging it out. You could have done something to make this right instead of accusing me of bad husbandry.

Paypal is asking you to refund my shipping charges.

Thanks

Not how PayPal disputes work, but nice try.

If the charge-back works, the shipping price should be included anyway right?

Why would Rob refund something that the credit card may be giving anyway?

The chargeback already has worked.

Rob did you receive the tracking number?

Plan to ship on tuesday next week.

What, you want to continue communication through here so Rob's bad guy thread can keep getting bumped to the top? That's pretty low. What's wrong with the other thread?

I would prefer to communicate here and keep things transparent. I don't have anything to hide

I'm thinking he cried to his school about the other thread and doesn't want them to see his hanky panky with the shipping charges on this one.

Until PayPal notifies me that they decide not not pursue a chargeback, this case is pending on my end. PayPal already decided in my favor on the claim, but I haven't ye received word on the chargeback.

Thomas, Dave brings up some good points. It seems like you are rushing things. Why?

Also, I'd like to reiterate that I will happily refund your money if you are dissatisfied with your purchase or you have some evidence that Yellow was/is sick.

No neurological issue that I am aware of manifests itself 90+ days into a snake's life, then fades away. I believe your snake was overheated.

As all of this information is on the other thread, I have no interest in starting over here. As far as bumping of this thread, it doesn't really matter as I will direct potential buyers to search my name before they proceed. Feel free to bump it as often as you wish, Thomas.

I call BS.
You have had several people here in the central Texas area offer to help, I wouldn't trust any information coming out of your mouth.

Come tuesday you are getting your snake shipped back to you.

There is no deciding anything about a case, it has already been decided I already spoke to paypal.

Just accept it.
