• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Rob Hutchinson - laterob

The only advice is to read the relevant threadS before coming to a conclusion (this was a retaliatory thread, after Rob posted about the OP...and, there is more information in the other one).
If, after considering everything, you feel that Rob is to be avoided, that is your decision. You may not get much agreement, but you are welcome to do business (or not) with anybody you choose.

After reading the threads it is indeed apparent that Thomas did not conduct himself in the best manner, leaving me to question his business demeanor and experience as a reptile hobbyist. However that does not let Rob off the hook if the animal was afflicted prior to the purchase. Thomas did provide a veterinary evaluation stating that the animals condition was unlikely a result of intervention by Thomas. It is also my understanding that Rob provided some sort of 30 day return period of which he was hesitant to honor. The entire situation seems suspicious to me. It is in my best judgement to steer clear of both parties. Sorry if I am unfamiliar with your particular forum, is there any advice you can give to bring me up to speed?
You are certainly welcome to your own opinion. Your first post seemed as if you were imposing it on us.
I'm not sure if this revival of the issues is entirely innocent either, but I'm just going to wait and see.

Imposition was never my intention. I simply saw others stating conclusions of their own and I thought I would do the same. Is this not customary on this particular forum.

There were no test done so how would the vet give a proper evalulation. The vet only knew what Thomas told them. Probably didn't say it was fine before he stuck a tube down it throat cause it look dehydrated a day after it ate. I would buy from Rob any day of the week. And didn't you read Rob saying he would take the snake back multiple times.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.....

I'm going to play Devil's advocate here and presume that this is a genuine comment, and does not turn out to be the OP or an OP friend.....

Everyone IS welcome to add their comments, and I do not think that just because someone is new to the forum they should be automatically discredited. (It happened to me when I was new here.)

The problem is that frequently people who seem to be losing their arguments may either pose as a new identity or get a friend to post fake positive comments on them, and that is why you are being treated with suspicion.

The reason why people have reacted strongly to your comments is that there is another, very extensive thread, which pretty clearly shows that this OP is in the wrong, and feelings are running pretty high against his points.

I think that if you went back and read that thread (make sure you have time, it's a long one) you would be unlikely to be defending this particular OP.

Well, since 'Mr Murray' didn't take the time to answer the question before leaving, and I'm in an impatient mood, I guess I'll just get right down the the real question.

Why, Mr Murray, would you have an email address of "[email protected]"?

I knew he was a very unstable person his professors MUST be made aware of.

His tactics behind this is to keep the X up top and take away form his thread and try to harm Robs Rep.

All in all he just nailed the final Nail in his coffin....

Nope. None of us saw that coming.

Wasn't Thomas' ban on his original account for just a few days?

Oh geez. Using sockpuppet accounts to help yourself look better in internet disputes is the lamest thing ever. I think this guy is just trolling (very, very badly) at this point.

Wasn't Thomas' ban on his original account for just a few days?
His accumulated infractions triggered a one month ban.
Apparently, the thought of this thread dropping 12 pages before he could resurrect it proved too much for him.

Of course, it IS just a gmail account...so anybody could have created that account, right? I suspect that Thomas will make that claim...and I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that we don't hear from digitaloverkill again.
