When I got on fauna this afternoon and saw this "bad guy" thread that this idiot I have never done business with had posted, I was a little pissed. I thought it would sure be nice if it were deleted, and I figured it was going to get ugly.
Some of the people that have actually done business with me have come in here and posted feedback from our transaction, and even said some nice things about me. I thank y'all very much.
Other members who I have talked to, and even a few that dislike me and I was sure were going to have a field day with this thread, have posted in my favor as well(even though I'm sure it hurt some of them to do it.) I also thank y'all.

My earlier post originally began with, "I can't believe I'm saying this, but...." , but I decided to lose that part.

No secret that there's no love lost between Rob and I, but fair is fair, and honest is honest. A scammer you are not, and no one deserves that label unfairly.

Robert, we may bump heads and not get along all that well due to our differences in opinions, but that dont make you a thief, scammer, bad guy, etc. I would never accuse anyone of such things unless that is what I honestly thought they were. And you sir surely dont deserve any of those labels.

I have had the pleasure of conducting business with Rob now on a few occassions. All have been great and never once has there been any problems. Rob has been to my facility and I have met him on the road to conduct business. It is assanine to insult him and refer to him as anything but top notch and honest. How can someone scam you who would rather meet you than ship because they care about the animals that much.
I also agree that this should be locked. Even though I don't agree with all the aspects of the freedoms on fauna, this site is a huge help to our reptile community and I hate to see someone misuse it like this guy has and just down right lie with no other intent but to cause a GOOD GUY harm. Just my 2 cents.

Actually, Sammy, it wasn't your post at all that triggered my post. I almost said as much, but figured that I'd just leave it as a general statement. If you bothered to read it, you would have noticed that this thread was started in retaliation for issues originating in another thread here...not because Robert Kelly actually scammed anybody. Just because you were approached by a scammer with a similar name, doesn't mean that this Robert Kelly is a scammer by association.

If, of course, you can demonstrate that this Robert Kelly is responsible for those messages, that is a different story. THAT would be an interesting twist of things, and would generate plenty of interest.

btw - that isn't a real phone number...it is the number generated/shown when an SMS (text) message is sent to a cell phone from an instant messenger service (ie Yahoo Messenger). That number may be unique to Yahoo...not sure about that part.
