    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I completely agree Lucille. I have read many posts that Rob has been involved in, and he never starts out as the way his is portrayed, but somehow it ends up with insults and obsenities at some point on some of the posts. The man is often attacked and antagonized when he is involved in a post, and often times it seems people do it just to see how far they can push him to get him to get to that point. It almost seems like a game to some people to do this to him.

Rob has many times brought up people selling crossed animals that were being sold as pure locales when people have asked for opinions of what they plan on purchasing. He has saved me from spending money on something that was not as stated several times.

I have also gotten valuable advice from Jim on several occasions when I have had issues with my chameleons. He has been in the business for some time and offers advice freely to people to help them.

We are all responsible for our own words. Just because someone pushes us, we do not have to take the bait and reply in kind. One can convey exactly what one thinks of a person without using obscenities or insults.
The other choice we can make is where we choose to hang out. Here, for instance, derogatory, obscenity laced invective is given short shrift and those persisting behaving in that manner after warning infractions(or sometimes, immediately) banned for various periods of time depending on the quality and quantity of the invective.
 
Robert Nichols. I got the "pleasure" of receiving messages from him tonight. He said the admins and moderators here are all crooked. So I asked him for proof and he could not come up with any. He came up with name calling though. Then he started saying I looked like a pedophile and such. However, he is not on my friends list so I do not know what picture he was looking at. I have the hulk as a profile picture and none of my other pictures of myself are set to public. So he is probably looking at himself. Anyway he could not come up with any proof of admins here being crooked so he blocks me instead. Shortly thereafter, I got a notification that Robert C rose has tarted following me. Are they tied at the hip or something?
 
I asked if he was talking out his rear end. Being as i was once a moderator for this site, I took exception to him calling the admins and moderators "crooked".

I don't know about anyone else. But my reading comprehension and ability to read between the lines is tremendous. I think I see a threat in there in regards to lawyers being used by this Robert Fellow

He (Robert) seems to respond in a similar manner in many posts here. It seems as if his way of dealing with any issues whatsoever is to attack the poster, not the issue, and drive away any disagreement with derogatory, obscenity laced invective.

This doesn't appear to be a new quality, and I wonder why anyone would leave him in charge of a site for even a couple of weeks.
As I said before, we are all in charge of our own words no matter what other people's words may be.

It is almost a certainty that Roberts behavior/animosity bleeds over into his life on many fronts. He could possibly be a happy individual, but I really doubt it.
 
As someone who frequents this site to check the BOI when I am considering the purchase of a new animal, I can say I will surely avoid doing business with ANYONE associated with that face book group. The people coming in here under false aliases just makes me not want to trust anyone involved with CGW because now we don't know who these people really were. Just my two cents as an outside observer. In this case the bad apples really did ruin the whole bunch.

If your being straight or blunt with the truth people tend to get over it. It is when you don't filter the other attacks, innuendos, threats, insults and so forth that people run into trouble. A person could be the world's foremost expert on chameleons and if that person posted insults and diatribes like I've seen in this thread, I would certainly avoid them like the plague. Knowledge and skill does not entitle a person to engage in that kind of behavior whenever they see or hear something they do not like. As I stated earlier chameleons aren't my thing but there are people with whom I have no interest in purchasing animals from.

I couldn't agree more. I spent all day reading this thread, and wouldn't do business with anyone associated with Robert, CGW etc...

While I have rendered loads of valuable and accurate advice in my years in the business, your characterization of Rob is absurd to the Nth degree.

As has been evidenced everywhere within the chameleon community for the last five years or so, when Rob first showed up, and to the larger critter community in just the last few days here with this thread, is that Rob Nichols is possibly a full-blown sociopath. As Dru noted early on, and many others noted, he is demonstrably mentally unstable. To then claim that he has some informed knowledge of anything chameleon is absurd. Here is what Rob "knows" ...... "My stuff is good. Everyone else'e not so much, or worse" He has only ever produced a couple clutches of one Locale, and at least some of those have been shown to be crosses, to include him trashing a picture of one he sold, only to then be told it was one he produced and sold as Faly !!! <<<< Now that was funny !! It was a few pages back folks, if you missed it. A long string of screen-shots.

More evidence of Rob's instability, of his depravity, his dishonesty, and ignorance, will be evidenced here in the coming days. Lots of folks out there who were minding their own business, only to then be trashed by RN, and then harassed. Typical CGW stuff, as will be further demonstrated if they don't clean it up, and quick too. Enjoy
 
Regardless of whether or not Robert was provoked, if you own and operate a business, you don't swear and name call others, especially customers/potential customers. You conduct yourself as an adult, especially when your words are typed and can't be deleted/forgotten.

Over the weekend, while Robert Nichols was banned from here, he decided to create a new identity of FaceBook as me, a genuine Jim Flaherty. The obvious difference was that his tag had an image of the Crypt Keeper on it, while mine is just me and my sweetheart .... :)

He chose to put a string of posts on my Company FB page. That is the typical nonsense we expect from RN. But he is also an ethically corrupt individual, as he then began to post insults onto the timelines of others, using his warped identity as me.

Each new incarnation of this entity can be blocked, and we expect to eventually get FB to totally ban this Robert Nichols. We also expect to start a new thread about RN, and this new level of moral corruption, to make folks aware of this fraud of an individual.

Here is just one screen shot. We have many more, that were sent to me and others. We have proof that it was him, for those friends of his who still cling to him as just being slightly maligned nice guy. All will be posted later. Thanks.

C'mon. That is off-topic. But to be fair, his own posts on his FB page go mainly to drug-use, and bashing liberals, whre politics are the theme, suggesting that he is not a D. He lives with his brother, and appears to be on, or trying to obtain, disability. It is unfortunate that he may have serious issues of impairment that none of us would want. But he is voluntarily making it worse. Much worse.

He has been reading here in the past hour, as himself, so I believe he can post. I would agree with you in most cases otherwise, but this is not just some hot-head who needs to be put in their place. This is also about bringing pressure to bear on CGW. RN is mentally unstable. He is on medications. I am only now finding this out, the latter anyway, but there are folks out there who used this guy as their attack dog. Who knew all along of his condition. Must have been humored by seeing their "useful _____" let loose. So now I am beating up a guy who needs help. Who was fomented by a group of folks that knew all about this, but needed the entertainment apparently. OBTW, we tried to get them to clean it up before we came here. They were not interested.

Ain't this swell.
