Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but your very wrong if you think any job worth having won't do an Internet search. You accuse others of being stuck in the 80's, well you must be stuck there too if you think this way! Sure a fast food restaurant or gas station probably won't do a search but any employer whos reputation is important them and is going to be paying you a decent amount of money will do a search. Even the military branches do searches this day in age. The didn't in the 80's I'm sure but it's 2015 and just about everything revolves around and relys on the internet. I can guarantee you if you try to get a job that pays more then minimum wage for mopping the floor they will do a search for your name. As someone who has owned a business and also worked in HR in a large company anyone who hires you will be giving you their hard earned money and would be stupid not to research the person they are investing that money in. You seem to think nothing you do can effect you or come back to bite you later. Grandious delusions are signs of quite a few mental illnesses if you want people to not believe Jim when he says you are mentay ill I suggest you chang your attitude and behavior fast or your just proving him right! Oh and just for the record, I don't know jim, have never talked to him, Im just reflecting on what has been said by you in these 2 posts. I don't own chameleons and I'm not interested in them at all. They are pretty but not for me.

Exactly Julia! However, I do not think he is getting it. I have been here over 10 years now and have seen a LOT of meltdowns. This one is turning out to be epic.

Yeah, I'm sure I have pissed off a lot of scammers that this site has focused the spotlight on and their demands that I delete info about them denied by me. And I'm also sure that those people who can't seem to be smart enough or mature enough to know how to act in a public forum are pretty pissed when I decided I didn't want them on this site and banned them. And yes, people have come crying to me about threads here negatively impacting their job applications and begged, demanded, even offered to pay me to remove then, all for naught. I'm sure they are pissed at me too. To them all: Tough noogies, fellas. You made the bed you sleep in and I certainly don't owe you any favors, or need you in my life or this site.

As for you, Robert, you may want to consider the sources as well as those birds of a feather that you are joining the flock of. If that is what you want, then so be it. Absolutely no skin off of my butt if you get yourself banned from here. Within a week of your being gone, I will have completely forgotten that you even exist.

Yeah, I got the expected blast of profanity laced and personally derogatory emails from this guy. Does he seriously think that this sort of childish stuff bothers me? :rofl:
 
I took the weekend off, as I had other things to genuinely keep me busy, and it would seem that the "zeal" of everyone but me racked up another 50 posts or so !

Robert Nichols, age 48, of Simi Valley CA, is obviously well past the age of learning basic maturities, and how to conduct himself so as to "make friends and influence people" positively. He does not have a job, lives with relatives, and either is on, or is seeking disability. Perhaps legitimately so.

What you are seeing is not the "new" Robert Nichols. This is the same Robert Nichols who was chosen by Robert C. Rose to be the fill-in Moderator at Chameleons Gone Wild, and who was never suspended or banned from that site. Rather he was the "useful _____" when they wanted to lead a thread on bashing others in the business. It was more birds-of-a-feather than not as well. That will be illustrated in a few days.

Nothing further that I could say would make Robert Nichols look more like the "south facing end of a northbound _______ ", to paraphrase Rich, than Robert has done all on his own.

To the kids out there. Learn from this. Do not conduct yourself anywhere, much less the world of social media, as RN has. If you have friends that he reminds you of, then get new friends.

Not to derail the thread, or get off topic.... but I have to say this:

I love FC - the strict rules are PERFECT in every way, the Moderators do a great job. By far one of the most dedicated sites I have been on.

Many people (as the scammers, liars, etc - the people that get caught) are fearful of getting exposed on this site, and that deletions of any sort are very rare...

IT'S ALL SOOOOOO BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!

After all... if one has nothing to hide... why be afraid to post here?

I admit to rarely posting here, as I am in the Arachnid hobby... but I browse this place every. single. day.

Keep up the good work, all. WebSlave... thank you for this site.

I was informed of this thread. I had the time to read it. Working with reptiles as my hobby for 40 years tends to mean I like to know about people in the hobby. For the reason above that I quoted from page 12 I have to say I appreciate the BoI.

Not that I planned to resurrect this thread right now, but Mr Robert Nichols just cannot control himself. He's been insulting folks still via PM etc, mostly in FB forums. And about 30 minutes ago, he called me. I was not quick enough to recognize the number before picking it up. But it was a good laugh as he called my wife a whore (I am not married right now), my kids words that might apply to sex acts, etc. Same 48 year old loser Rob.

So I will be filing another police report, which he claims I cannot do !! This time I will push it, as I do have a good working relationship with two officers, and they said they would get involved if Nichols did not learn how to shut up.

Meanwhile, he is still an active member at Chameleons Gone Wild. They say that they are cleaning things up. Maybe they are. But just how clean can you be with a crap-stain on you named Robert Nichols ? He is their class-clown still, by all appearances.
 
It appears that Mr. Nichols set up an account on FaceBook impersonating my name there. Gee, that hurts............. :rolleyes:

He has been banned from most forums. He currently runs a small group called "Only the Real Truth About the Chameleon Community" or something along those lines.
