Have to add my 2 cents here. I too had purchased a female from Rob, it too came to me with more than several ticks on it. Unfortunately I did not notice this right away due to the fact that I was in the middle of a move.

I have to support Sal on this issue. I don't believe that the animal I received was a CH animal. The animal refuses to eat as well. I strongly believe that I received an import as well.

I'm certainly no expert, and have not been working with snakes for 10 years~ but I have seen sperm plugs from ball pythons. I've seen it on video, I've seen them when others popped a male ball, and I've seen them when I pop a male ball. Never seen a sperm plug on a female.

But I am no expert~ I just know that Male Ball pythons DO make sperm plugs, and they CAN be pushed out using pressure on the tail where one would roll your thumb to "Pop" a snake.

I deal in much higher priced animals then a few hundred bucks so for me to hear your Bs it wouldnt be worth it in the least.

I don't offer a 5 day guarantee on all my animals just my hets and high level stuff

Rob, are you seeing how the first quote doesn't really mesh well with the others?

If you're into high end animals, why raise a fuss over taking a refund for $200 worth of ball pythons?

Welp,, its getting a little worse every day for Rob.. I,too, have been in this business for quite some time, and was originally into the ball python craze (this was before all these "new"morphs)..When i was into the Ball pythons, pieds were the BIG thing, and i dont believe i have heard of this Rob guy.. That doesnt mean anything really, just kinda ramblin'..
But i do need to comment on WallyWorlds statement..
I agree, if someone has had a snake for 18 months, it shouldnt have any ticks at ALL..
Hell, we deal in thousands of imported balls every year,, and i can GUARANTEE ONE THING,, i have every single tick removed within 1-2 sheds.. The reason being, sometimes ticks hide, and you dont see them until after a shed or two..
But a snake should definately have shed more than 2 times in 18 MONTHS!!!!

Rob, i would suggest that you come on here and try to dig your name out of the dirt here bud..

If I am wrong about the issue of popping sperm plugs manually I stand corrected. Granted i have never worked extensively with Balls but that is the first time I have ever heard of that procedure

IF you are satisfied with the animals you sold, their should be no reason you would not take them back. Sal is obviously not a happy customer or pleased in anyway.. Without the sexing issue they should have been returned. He is even going to have them re-sexed to satisfy any doubts. I've dealt with Sal before and he is very nice and professional in every contact weve had. Even here he is behaving very well for someone who just got sent some fresh ticks. If they come back sexed incorrectly that is just icing on the cake... What then Rob?

Well I finally got the two snakes sexed. And the verdict? Two MALES. Rob Pennisi is a scamming liar. Dan and Colette Sutherland of The Snake Keeper sexed them and even took pictures with their camera. I only live a few blocks away from them. Dan also stated that they definitely look like fresh imports. So now I have two imported males when I was supposed to get two CH females that were supposedly 100% healthy and eating? I will post the pictures that the Sutherlands took as soon as they email them to me. Dan was able to pop sperm plugs as well!! I would stay away from ANYTHING that Rob has for sale, especially his hets. It's funny that he supposedly sold me two 100% healthy adult females when now he is posting wanted ads for large CH/CB females on KS. The two Rob sold me probably weren't good enough. BECAUSE THEY WERE MALES! I would also like to point out that Rob NEVER contacted me or responded to any of my concerns throughout this nightmare, nor has he ever tried to settle this. DO NOT BUY FROM ROB PENNISI.

I have seen countless males evert while being soaked. It is very common in both snakes AND lizards. As for the sperm plugs, I have pushed out many, many sperm plugs from males while sexing them.

I had a guy sell me "captive bred" females and they had ticks on them too. I didn't have to guess if they were wild caught or not because he ordered them from Xtreme Reptiles and had them sent to me directly, hence they came with an invoice!

I don't know about his selling practices, as I've never bought anything from him.... but, I just recently posted an 0.1, cbb-early-02 Ball on KS, and Robert called me three seconds after I hit "post".... his money was PayPal'd to me immediately and everything went very smoothly.... we spoke on the phone and he seemed like a really nice guy....

Well you can see Rob's trend here and we are just talking about a couple of animals that were female and obviously WC.

Now he is selling higher end morphs (Hets) on KS. I would hate to be the buyer of those, who knows what you will get.

Hey Saunders you are a joke if you notice you and 1 other person are the only 1 coming forward with complaints and you never once called me and my number is posted all over my ads and told me you had a problem you just went ahead and started posting your complaints without even giving me any opportunity to correct the problem,and i'm sure your fauna buds will jump on me even though they don't know anything about me.You are a sorry ass and you are lucky we don't live closer.But Thats cool because many times I was thinking about purchasing some of there animals such as Ms Terese and there are others as well, but since they jumped on me without hearing my side I chose not to and I purchase animals weekly so they just screw themselves. I think people did hear your side, Rob, and that is what most drew their conclusions from. I know that my opinion was that quite possibly a mistake occurred, since it seemed doubtful that any of the parties would go to such extreme lengths to try to rip anyone off over such a small dollar amount.

However, it's how people conduct themselves when there are problems with a purchase or sale (and sooner or later, EVERYONE has a deal go bad) that potential customers remember when choosing whom to buy from.
