That prompted my comments to you that it shouldn't be ok to utilize one's authority as a moderator here for personal gain when it's detrimental to FC. I certainly didn't expect you to No one asked for her to be ridden out of town on a rail.
Again
WHAT actions has Lucille done using her authority as a moderator here for personal gain? All I am asking for is evidence of that, and so far no one has offered up any.

What I am trying to say to you is that some of Lucille's actions WHILE ACTING AS A MODERATOR may be harmful to this site, and you should CARE about that and address it.
And yet again, please tell me what actions Lucille has done WHILE ACTING AS A MODERATOR that you are referring to. She posted that thread in The Welcome Club forum just as any other regular member could have done. As far as I am aware, she did NOTHING at all to or about that thread beyond what other regular members could also do. Please correct me if I am wrong about that. And if this is not the incident you are referring to, then what exactly ARE you referring to? I do hate to repeat myself, but why isn't my request for details seemingly sinking in?

It would have been more appropriate for you just to acknowledge that Lucille is not flawless, and not try to mask this error in judgment by simply attacking the other party in the feud and anyone who criticized Lucille for this thread. In attempting to defend her in this manner, you managed to confirm others' feeling that she hides behind you and doesn't have the spine to defend her own position.
Sometimes you have to respond in like kind to get some people's attention. Nothing I did as far as I am concerned was an attack. Perhaps a vigorous defense would be more accurate. People were lashing out and sometimes it takes a verbal slap alongside the face to get their attention. In other words, to those whom this applies, if you can't take it, then don't dish it out.

I don't think that Lucille has been chased off this site. I think she's logged in as a guest and is devouring every word, and will be back when its died down. Yet I won't be surprised to see Lucille return with a renewed commitment to stand up for the good people of Fauna against the bullies that want to poison it. I think that dramatic attitude from a moderator may be harmful to this site. If I'm reading it correctly, that's ALL anyone is trying to tell you.
You lost me. What "dramatic attitude"? And from whom?

Rich,
I think that you are still missing some very basic points here. And as long as you continue to say what you do then I feel I need to reiterate. My apologies in advance to Kelli.
- Lucille made that post in an inappropriate location
- Robin got warning points and took them "like a man"
- Lucille is being held to a lower standard than Robin where she should be held to at least as high a standard if not a higher one
Point number one is a warning point with a value of "1". Point 2 is a warning point with a value of "10". They are rated as such because of my opinion of what constitutes a more abusive use of the system. Matter of fact, a warning point of "1" is really more of a "Hey bud! You made a mistake!" rather then an actual punitive action.
If the roles had been reversed, or if that had been identical in severity, then BOTH Lucille and Robin would have gotten identical warning points assessed against them.
Does everyone understand the concept of levels of severity? Does everyone understand why I would be much more prone to ignore the lower levels rather then the higher ones? Regardless of who they applied to? Does anyone here THINK that I apply warning points to everyone each and every time I see a rule infraction without fail and with no exceptions? But I am repeating myself again. No, I do NOT always assess warning points even when the post obviously is a violation. I have moved countless threads without the poster getting dinged for it. I felt them having to FIND the darn thing afterwards was punishment enough.

I have no personal issue with either Robin or Lucille. I don't really care what the origin of all this silly drama is quite honestly, but I do believe in fairness. Lucille was wrong, and she has run off because she feels "abused". The warning points you might issue for posting in an inappropriate forum and for use of what language she did would have only a symbolic meaning as we know that you aren't going to suspend Lucille. They would however show that you hold your moderators to a standard that is no less than that to which you hold the rest of us peons. Until you do that, then those so-called factions of which I don't believe I am a member (correct me if I am wrong but I don't belong to any club that would have me

) will continue to lose respect for you and your site and will continue to snipe at and hound Lucille at every opportunity. And what's worse, by letting Lucille "get away" with this behavior you are giving a positive reinforcement for this behavior that is probably about the last thing that she needs at this point in time.
The symbolic meaning, at this point, would be a double edged sword. Now it would most certainly mean "Hey we can badger WebSlave until he finally gives in to out demands!" Lucille did NOT "get away" with anything more then countless other people here have "gotten away with". Posting a thread in an inappropriate forum is really not that big of a deal on this site concerning all the other crap that takes place here. She did not post that as a moderator, did not use anything that she could as a moderator on or with that thread, and she did not ABUSE the moderation authority in any way, shape, or form as far as I can determine.
Look at the list of warnings in the warnings list. Just about ALL of those were put in place after the fact. In other words, people would DO the things those points warn against and I had to try to coerce people into ceasing that sort of activity.
I know this is not clear to everyone, but I'm going to ask anyway. Is this finally CLEAR to everyone? I'm not asking if you AGREE, I'm asking if you understand what I am saying.
