I found RP's Kingsnake ad for a 2010 proven breeder male hypo pinstripe that linked to their facebook page. The facebook page included a sale post for 25% off all males they had available. Their facebook page only has 200 or so likes, and there wasn't much info available online about them, but I figured I'd inquire anyway.
They immediately answered my message on facebook about size, what he ate, etc. They gave an approximate size as they were currently at a reptile show over the weekend and offered to re-weigh him when they got back. After seeing his photo, I was pretty set. The photo was from the beginning of the year so despite the sale post saying the 25% off was for same day sales only, they held the snake for me for free for two days and on Monday morning sent me a current photo of him. In addition to the 25% off sale, they gave me discounted flat rate shipping.
I paid on Monday and they were able to ship it Tuesday night at my request. They checked the temperatures at their location and mine, as well as any in between fedex points. They emailed me after payment with a PDF receipt and told me when to expect the shipping information to arrive. My hypo pinstripe arrived right on time, perfectly packaged and warm. All the proper paperwork was inside the box with him. He's a gorgeous animal and looks very alert, healthy and not overly stressed.
I'm glad I took a chance with this breeder I didn't know much about. I got a wonderful animal at a great price. They did everything exactly by the book and had in depth and fast communication during the five days between inquiring and receiving the animal. Everything was perfect!
