In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

This and the other threads should be linked to his for sale posts. Which is still occurring/posting.

FYI: While he is 'visiting' the site, he hasn't posted a new classified ad since 10/24/18. As far as posting links from his ads to this BOI report, that is an option open to you if you feel inclined to do so.

Hopefully he is just trying to make sales
to make good....
or end's meat
or both

Seems understandable
he might elect
to not wade into the quagmire
of "shoot-em-up" commenting.

Hope all the thinking is straight
and it all works out

Those other posts he has are nice animals,
just gotta take care of the business end

Very sad state of affairs right now.
It does look like he has dropped the ball and even looks like getting out of the biz altogether evidenced by selling of snake racks on Facebook, not a good sign tbh.

Not looking good for Rockabirdie which is a shame as I bought some really nice critters from him in the past.

I bought 10 uros from him a few months back. The pic looked nice but what came in the box was not good. They where all dehydrated and sucked up. He sent me 11 10 of the died. I even took them to the vet and the vet said there was nothing he could do for them.

Bryan,
Thank you for coming forward and posting your experience with Thomas!

But now after reading your post, I'm very curious, why did you wait until now to post the rotten deal, dealt you, of the uro's you received from Thomas?

Look again. Posted uro for saie on 12/1/18. I sid check the BOI, his last two buyers gave him good reviews. The bad review was 2 years before. I gave hime the benefit of the doubt. He doesn’t accept PayPal.

Blue Line: Last Activity 12-01-18 (means last time he visited the site)
Red Line: Last Post he did 10-24-18 (this is when he posted the Uro ad)

Visiting and Posting are two different things.

So, lets say I post something for sale a month ago and then don’t post anything else and don’t visit the site, the post will fade into time? If I come back to visit the site, say today, my post for sale posted a month ago will automatically refresh to today’s date without me having to so anything? Is that how the postings work?

I purchased 30 Russian tortoises from him in the summer.
All outstanding animals. Could not ask for any better
Communication, packing or quality of animals
I was extremely happy.
Hope it works out for you

well, sad to say there was no response from Thomas. I had no reason to believe he wouldn't come though that's why I gave it such a long time. In the end he didn't come through. I hope he is well. However, I did put in a dispute with my CC company, gave it a shot, and they did credit me today.

Happy holidays.

Thank you for the update and while it is unfortunate that the deal was not completed as hoped, it is good news that you were able to recover your funding via the dispute process.

How does this work ? They just don't take your word for it do they ... didn't they have to contact him and have him confess he didnt follow through with his end ?

Happy you got a full refund .... you were MORE than patient with him.

No, I had to make a claim on my credit card against a reptile supplier and I was credited back simply because they did not respond to the credit card issuer, I'm glad it worked out and you got your money back. Too many thieves and trolls these days.

*repetitive lameness and worn out tag lines here*

I had to file a CC dispute once too. Basically, I just signed a form giving my statement and they credited my account. The offender had a few days to respond which they never did.

I was curious about how they went about it . It seems if they don't get a response from the other side, it goes in your favor. I was just wondering what his excuse to the CC company was ... but no response to them, either.

Blows me away how many scammers and con artists are in the herp hobby ... seems like eveybody wants to be a Ty Parks.

My cc company was Wells Fargo, I made a complaint and provided evidence. The supplier had 60 days to respond and provide evidence, they did not respond to the notice and lost by default. In my instance I had made a charge in Nov 17 and a duplicate charge appeared on my bill in early 18. I believe this was intentional as the party that I was dealing with was uncooperative, did it to others, and couldn't reconcile his own books.

Are you serious ? He kept you cc info and tried to run another order through months later ?? How about doing us all a favor and name them so can avoid him/her.

It's this kind of scammer that has me never dealing from herp classifieds
again unless I am close enough to drive there and do the deal in person with cash.

I will do a future boi. it wasn't through here ( Ive never had a problem with a seller here) and it was someone I would have ordinarily avoided but he had something I wanted. Im going to make a complaint with his state atty general, but again I think most sellers here are above board as all my transactions exceeded expectations.
