• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Rod from kingsnake.com

more info needed

You have very little info to go on here.
If you are interested in what he is selling I would contact him, tell him you are interested but would like to know if he has any references and ask for his full name (then do a BOI search).
Any legit seller should be more than happy to provide a full name so a potential customer can verify they are legit. Anyone who is resistant or gets mad because you ask for a full name or references is somebody you should probably avoid IMO.
As long as you keep things professional and polite there is no harm in asking.

I had contacted a seller about a snake (asking for pictures, none were listed in the ad) who only had a first name listed. I searched his full name when he got back to me. I did not like his reviews so just politely told him the snake was not quite what I was looking for.

hope this helps

lve never purchased any animals from Rod, but I have bought over 3/4 of the entire collection of Reptiles magazine and Reptile/Amphibian Hobbyist from him and he was very honest in all the transactions we did. I know media is alot different than animals though.

and sorry if I can't post links, sure someone will remove it if it is against the rules.

Generally speaking, it is better to post (as an attachment) screen shots of whatever it is you want us to see. The ad you linked will be dead within a few days, making it useless....and you're mistaken, we do not edit BOI posts on that manner.

Got my two EBT today from Rod. They arrived alive and healthy. Good communication, shipping and entire transaction went smoothly.

No complaints. I am very happy.
