    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

from what he said in that last email. I think he lives over by San Antonio which is a couple hours away. Give the guy a chance to make good on it and if he doesn't then I could always go take a look.

I am, I'm waiting for that check to clear. This all started by just trying to get some info on him since things didn't seem right when he didn't call me and things kept getting delayed. If he had just called like i asked several times, everything would have been cool. but thats what made me wonder about him.

The ad clearly stated it was a pre-order. They are imported babies and they never stated they were feeding, so nothing wrong there either. What is wrong is they stated CB when they are clearly CH, and there is no way they could post pictures not because wouldn’t let them post but simply because they didn’t have the animals yet. Just my opinion.

One thing I didn't like is this:

Interesting, DHL, the company that took the hardline stance against shipping animals after the Airborne merger is now going to make good on a claim for a non allowed cargo? I for one would love to see some documentation backing up the above statement.......

I too would like to see that paperwork. I was under the impression that they do not ship snakes. People ship through them all of the time, but if there is a shipping mishap, they will not cover it (or so I thought).

A couple of years ago, I sent some lizards through Airborn on a Thursday, and they lost the package. They did not get it delivered until the following Monday. 6 out of the 9 lizards died. I refunded my customer, and contacted Airborn for damages. They were very sympathetic, but told me that they would not be able to help me as they do not ship lizards or snakes for that matter. They ship turtles and amphibians and some insects, but not lizards. Basically, I was out of luck.

So, maybe this did happen, and maybe this guy has not actually discussed his claim with DHL yet, and maybe he thinks he is going to be getting a refund after he gets around to filing his claim, but I seriously doubt that DHL would ever pay sush a claim. I could be wrong, but I do not think I am.
 
I dealt with Craig Gagne last October; I bought a male carrot-tail baldy leo from him. The whole transaction went very smoothly. He was even willing to hold the gecko for me for a few weeks so that I could procure caging. When I said I was ready, the gecko was shipped out promptly and he arrived, healthy, fat and well represented. Craig was very good about staying in touch and struck me as a real stand up guy. From my experience and impression of him, I'm really inclined to believe that he's being honest.

Its very hard to believe

That a forklift would have been able to just "runover" a box and squash it like that. Forklifts are very low to the ground. If anything, they would have run a corner over, or just pushed the box out of the way rather than full on crush it resulting in all 100 snakes getting killed? Forlifts are designed so that they don't run things over. At least large things anyway. A box with 100 snakes in it would have to be pretty large, and very difficult to completely crush.
