    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

"Do not buy from RON BILLINGSLEY this poor creature died 13 or so hours after i purchased it and ron insisted that it was my fault and bad husbandry that killed it... anyone on here that knows me or knows of me on her knows i will stop at nothing to make sure my animals are safe and healthy.

Said snake was purchased on dec. 13th at 5-6:00 pm at rons house

It was 47° that night went straight from rons house to the durango which had a cabin temp of 80-85 ° then straight from the truck to quarantine to temps of 87-90 and 57% humidity.

Yet ron insists that i killed the snake with bad husbandry.
I payed $25 dollars to rescue a fire breeder male with hemipine problems (i took home a ghost by accident because im newer to the ball pythons and ron didnt check it to make sure it was the the right snake. And i payed $75 dollars for a little spinner (told ron it was worth more but he didnt care) ball python in hopes that it would survive so i could grow it and give it a happy home.

After countless attempts to get my money back for the spinner female i simply told ron that i was going to keep the ghost cause he failed to refund my money.

To me its not monetary value its the moral and ethical value of it all. I could care less about the money involved but i do care about people knowing what kind or herps he deals in and works with.

So the Spinner died shortly after getting it from Ron, correct? Did it exhibit any issues that may have come from apre-existing condition?

Ron always has been and always will be a pimple on the ass of the hobby. I've seen his negligence in person more times than I care to count.
 
From what remember she looked a little skinny with a small bulge not sure if it was food or blockage but she was only 1.5 months from the looks of her and they all look skinny to me at that age like i said im newer to ball pythons
 
What was Ron's response when you notified him of the snake's death? Posting any e-mails or messages you two have had would be greatly beneficial to your case.
 
Also, did Ron tell you how long he had the Spinner before selling it to you? He is known to be the kind of guy who buys/trades for animals and sells them minutes later without quarantine or making sure they are feeding properly.

I have personally seen him pulling fresh imports right out of the boxes they came from the airport in and putting them on his table so it would not surprise me if Ron had no idea the snake was ill before selling it to you.
 
I dont think ron has any clue of age and he never specified length or possession of that snake and is there a way to post screen shots on here of the convo using a phone? David do you have a facebook i could send pics to via my phone? Or a contact number i could send pic to?
 
since the op doesn't seem to be able to upload anything at the moment this is apparantly the animal in question posted on a local fb reptile site.

according to the fb post ryan has it in his freezer I assume this would be able to be verified if this is the case. He did mention on fb it appeared to have a meal or blockage in the belly.
 
Not shocked by the problems with Ron Billingsley. At least you got something for your money that lived for 13 hours, I got nothing after I sent him money and had to file a claim with Paypal to get my money returned. Seems people do not change.
 
What is the FB Page where the conversation regarding this incident was listed?

I know Ron Billingsley has a Reptile Classified FB page where he is selling numerous reptiles, but I couldn't find it on there.

Wondering if the conversation was deleted?
 
Yes most of the posts were deleted buy the admins of the groups do to the conversation supposedly taking away from there page; and yes i have the ball still in my freezer so i can personally deliver it back to ron. I have all of the texts but only a couple of the screenshots from the public posting
 
Ryan, can you take screen shots of the texts you and Ron shared? There seems to be a LARGE group of folks growing that have been taken by Ron over the last year or two. Any info you post here will just make a better case for you not to mention evidence should Ron come here to post his side of the story. Really sorry to hear about your story.
