In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am interested in purchasing a pair of milk snakes and was wondering if anyone has dealt with him? I did a search on BOI and his name did not come up. Please and thank you .

Amy Arsenault

I have not dealt with him personally but believe he is well known in the herp community. He was the breeder that developed the Tremper albino leopard geck years ago, he has also written articles for Reptiles magazine. I'm sure others have dealt with him personally and I would be surprised if you found that he was other than a stand up person. I would not be very worried but am willing to be corrected.

Sorry for the double post. I did a quick search on the B.O.I. If you search ron tremper, there is a thread that was started in 5-06 by SPJ about Ron. That may help. BTW Steve (SPJ) is well known on this forum. His is an opinion I would trust.

Jerry,

Thank you for your posts. I swear I did a search and his name didn't come up. I wonder what I did wrong? Anyway my apologies for cluttering up the forum. I found the thread you were referring too. Thank you

I've known Ron for years and have visited his facility. Awesome!

Ron is one of the old timers that has been doing good business for a long time.

I would not hesitate to purchase from him.

Ron Tremper is one of most honest, dedicated and upstanding men I have ever met in my life. He's always there to help, and has been working with reptiles for about 100 years, or so it seems. He has many "firsts" under his belt, such as veiled chameleons and most of the leopard gecko morphs in the hobby today. This is the man to do business with. He is a true gentleman and businessman.

I had my booth

next to Ron for 7 years at the Reptile expo in Fla. I must tell you that you could see the enjoyment of people introducing themselves to Ron. He is a gentlemen and he knows how to take care of his purchasing public.. His wife and daughter are also lovely people.. He may not be that goodlooking, but he is trustworthy. JERRY

I've dealt with Ron a few times and it always went smooth. You can buy from him without worries.

His animals are top quality and look 10x better in person than they do in his photos.

I agree with everyone that has posted.
But, uh, Jerry, uh he looks like the Mona Lisa compared to you! LOL!

Amy, I purchased boas from Ron.

They were shipped properly and came in as you would expect they would from an old pro like Ron. :)

I have made a couple of purchases from Ron and all of his animals are extremely nice. His facilities are huge, state of the art, and CLEAN! I actually got to hold Moose.

Ron is very nice & friendly has never hesitated to answer any question I have had.

Ron's a great guy. I've bought boas form him on three different occassions. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

One of the best people to ever deal with. :)

Ron Tremper is an amazing individual. As mentioned here, he's one of the old timers in the hobby, having brought us many fantastic and wonderful animals over the years. He's always producing something truly amazing. :D

I've purchased a number of animals from him including my recent couple of ball pythons (my first pied!), leopard geckos, corn snakes and rough scaled sand boas.

All of these animals looked awesome in their photos and jaw drop gorgeous in person. He is a great guy and is always willing to educate people and help them with husbandry.

Hugs,

Amanda Rose
