• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

On Monday 3/2/2014 I saw a post for a 46" male red tegu for sale, I contacted him asked a few questions and ended up making a payment threw PayPal for him.
We agreed Tuesday for Wednesday delivery(yes i know its still Wednesday) and seamed well and good.

Today I logged in and noticed he had removed the (Sold) tag and I messaged him and he assured me that it would be arriving today but had misplaced the tracking number.

I was talking to a friend who is also a member and he messaged the guy and he tried to sell it to him for $150.00, after talking with some other people I found out that multiple people sent this guy money for the same animal.

I will list my conversation first, then the one that where sent to me by the other users.

Even if this guy did ship him to me, and i highly doubt he did, he is still trying to sucker more people into sending him money.

I sent him $175 on Monday through Paypal he was supposed to ship out yesterday for today no tegu. I am putting a claim through my Pay Pal. If some one can tell me how to show my emails and PM from here I can show proof. I had my wife send him an email acting interested after he was supposed to ship out and he told her the same $150 shipped.

The Limit message on your payment should of told you he was a NEW paypal account. He didnt send anything so hurry and file a claim, and it will LOCK his account and all funds.

Being new he has no quick access to the funds!

Brian, file a claim ASAP. This dude's a scammer for sure.

I'm also suspicious there is a connection between this "RonnySteves" and Fauna user "Snakey"/Max Nixon, who is also in the UK and had a B & W tegu auction that didn't pan out for ole Max as he used a UK address in his profile location.

I saw that ad.
I hope it all works out for all ..
"to good to be true" was my first thought and I moved on ............

I'm glad that all of you should be getting refunds :)

It definitely pays to search a vendor on Fauna and if that doesn't initially pan out, to then post an inquiry.

We're the BOI, it's what we do. :D

(The sentence above is a sarcastic take-off of a commercial I see/hear way too often that I am totally sick of)
