In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.
Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days
Responding to email notices you receive.
**************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.
Just kidding. At the top of every "forum" are stickies that have rules specific to that certain topic. Different topics obviously have different rules, so it's best to check out the sticky posts at the top of the one you're interested in.
For the most part it's common sense and common courtesy...don't be rude, don't use foul language, don't bump incessantly...things that you should expect on any website, not just here.
If you make an honest mistake people will usually look out for you, just treat others how you would want to be treated. I've had infractions on here for breaking rules I should have known better about, but they go away after a while as long as you don't keep doing them. If you go to the classifieds section though you should see the posts near the top with more specific rules.
What specific classifieds were you looking to post in? I pulled up ball pythons because that's what I deal with, but I think they're all pretty much the same (if not identical). Here are the sticky links that I mentioned:
Some of them just talk about features that are available for posting, others are rules. Like I said before, the other rules are mainly about using proper language and being courteous to others. Hope this helps
