    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

To all concerned,

We at east coast reptiles would like to make it public to everyone involved with talking bad about us or our show. There have been a lot of rumors floating around about us and i would like to clear the board and state what we have to say.
First off this quarrel with Tony Cueto we do not want to continue and did not want it to start. We are not trying to take tonys shows away from him nor are spreading lies about him. Half of the information we know about him came from people who have worked with him and are now saying we did it. We do half proof on a lot of the issues concerning him and they are all from him and his friends emailing us.
As for the vendors we do not want anyone to choose we feel you all should be able to do as many shows as you would like with out getting the hassle and should be able to do well at all shows. Without the promoter there would not be any shows and without the vendors there would be no shows.
As for our last show we made mistakes and do not blame anyone and did not put all the work on the people who were helping us. The work that they did fork out they chose to do and we tried to help but they chose to do it on their own. They also used to work for Mr. Cueto and then came to us and said Mr. Cueto mistreated them and they wanted to take him under, and in return he called them disgruntled employees and we have proof of that as well. Everyone makes mistakes and it is not right to listen to rumors that are not true unless you talk to who their about. For our next show we are trying to do something different. We will also get the advertisement out there as well. Every show is not going to be perfect and lord knows that. Although you may have done shows for years and years some shows still fail, for example Raleigh, from what we have heard from vendors and that is as far as it goes because we were not there.
For instance there are rumors going around about tony but that does not stop vendors nor attendees from going to the show. We should all stick to together to keep this passion for reptiles going so they do not continue to outlaw them. No one show promoter is going to be around forever and if a new one comes in to carry on what you have been fighting so hard to keep around you should help them.
We would like to know what we can do to make the shows better but if we do not hear from you then we will not know the ideas. We are far from perfect and will be the first to admit that. As for if you hear anything and have questions please ask us before you make up your mind.

I dont know about your show. But the ones in florida are pretty stale. Plus the prices are higher then pet stores.

You fail to mention all your shortcomings, which are many. You do not listen to anything or anyone, IE: Forum rules, we are not in the BOI, you have to pay to post there. If you would have read those rules and disclosures you would know that. I also would like to invite you to TRR's War Room so we can talk about this matter un-"civily" since that's the way you want to go about this. In case your short bus forgot to pick you up today, it's thereptileroom.org and private message Gary about getting access to the War Room. As for all this "wa wa boo hoo they didn't let us do anything" cry-baby story, look at yourselves for just one minute and ask yourself... would you want yourself making any decisions regarding a show? which might I add, Columbia was you FIRST show.. You have never even steped foot into another show in your life, let alone know how to sex a 9ft boa constrictor..

This is all I have to say on this matter. if you have any spines what-so-ever I will see you in the War Room.

I have thought long and hard about responding to you. I am not and I repeat I am not going to get into a pi***** duel with you. But there are a few things that I have to say.
1) You both need to show what you did for the April show. Can you provide and receipts other than the rent for the temple, ad that you did with Ghann's in Reptiles Magazine and the Insurance? You and I both know you can't! We have ALL the receipts for ads, fliers, supplies, ECT.
2) How many of the sponsors did you contact? 2 those being Ghann's Crickets and Aiken Feeder Food!
3) How many vendors did you keep in contact with more than 1 or 2 times? Post proof!
4) How many times did you call me telling me to re contact the vendors because "someone was causing trouble"?
5) We never said Tony did anything wrong to us. We told you two repeatedly not to mess with Tony! If you have proof otherwise then post it!
6) We received a forwarded email that you had sent to someone stating that we worked for you. If that is the case then you owe us money for what we did. You and I both know how hard we worked on this show. And never got the recognition for it. If you do not plan on paying us what we are owed then what we did was sponsor you. Put our link back on the show site as sponsors or take all sponsors that we off! Simple enough for you?
7) Explain to me/us what you did that we re did and the reason why?
8) We are not slandering you. What we have stated is the truth and we have EVERY email from the very first one. Do you want to post email for email? I am ready any time you are.
9) I do agree with you on working together for the reptile industry. But what you fell to see is that you might want to learn a little more about the animals that you own and how treating people with respect works.
10) You fell to tell everyone why there were no radio ads for the show! Would you like to explain that to everyone?
There is so much I would like to say but this is neither the time nor the place for it!

I hope you have learned something from this whole deal. And wish you well in life.

To the Webslave and mods of this forum: I apologize for letting this go on in the wrong forum and request that this thread and the others pertaining to this subject be moved to the proper forum.

If they move it to either BOI or Hell all they have to do is email webslave and ask for permission to defend themselves. I think hell would be the proper place because it will get heated but its webslave's call.
 
vince first of all thank you for defending us. to cathy and her family we also have the emails and people who have contacted said it was a lot better than raleigh as for the receipts you made up excuses to keep them and would not let us have them and for your information we contacted all the vendors. you said this is not the time or place but yet you have done nothing but slam us on this forum then you and your kids sit there and call us names and say we ride on the short bus how mature is that. we admitted we did make mistakes on this show and did not blame anyone and apparently you did not read that. yes i have the emails where tony called you disgruntled employess and the emails that you supposedly sent to his pals. as for sexing my female i did but wanted to double check it and i suppose you all learned the minute you hit air on how to do this. im not perfect but neither are you and there is quite a bit of people who did not appreciate you emailing them and talking bad about us. we are merely stating our side of the story and thats it we named no names except for tonys name and we were not even slamming him either. we should not have to explain anything to anyone we stepped up and stated the show could have been better and what not. as for the other shows that have gone on since then you talk to vendors because we had them call us telling us that they sucked compared to ours although we might have had less people. i said what i had to say and if he chooses to close this thread down than so be it im not going to do this petty childish crap because next thing you know there will be more name calling and i wanted to deal with that than i would go back to first grade. if you have a problem with us and want to discuss it like the proffesional adults you say you are than we will but not in public due to it being nobody elses business. as far as other people are concerned if they listen to rumors and what not and then meet us and realized we are laid back people then thats their business and if they can not make choices for themselves and learn for them selves than i dont know what to tell them. as for people causing trouble at the show you called us with the first incident now if you would like to bring our personal life into as other people have go ahead. that makes you look even worse. as for vendors if they had a problem with the show than they know they can make suggestions and contact us. if they do not then thats on them.

I am not really defending you, becuse I dont know the whole situation just whats in this thread. I do feel like it would be unfair for this thread to be moved to an area of the site where it would cost money for you to post. Good luck straighting out whatevers going on. Take care.
 
Vince, pay attention as I am sure this has been pointed out SEVERAL time previously.

If someone starts a thread about a NON-member here, someone who has NOT paid to post on the BOI, that person, the NON-member, can email Rich and ask for a 30 day waiver of the fee to post in their defense. If the thread goes on longer than 30 days their waiver will be extended INDEFINATELY.

THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY TO DEFEND THEMSELVES.

Time to start a thread on the BOI and get out the facts.

Don't know that that exception (30 free days to defend) would apply. She started the thread herself. The thread should have been started in the BOI, and she would have had to be a paid member to make the initial post, so I don't think it would qualify. Unless there is already a thread about this on the BOI and she replied here, instead of there, in which case, I stand corrected.
 
A couple of things I think need to be addressed here.
  1. THIS is the Shows & Events forum, is it not? Is this discussion about a Show or Event? If so, then this is the proper place for the discussion.
  2. A discussion CAN get heated without the use of profanity. Adults with a reasonable command of the English language and a fairly robust vocabulary should have no trouble at all doing this. The use of foul language only serves to diminish YOUR image in the eyes of readers and does not strengthen your case or argument even one little bit. So I suggest that all involved discuss this as reasonable, rational, level headed adults and present that image to all reading what you post here.
  3. Perhaps some believe a different website would be better to discuss that issue. That's fine, I guess, but I would appreciate it that if you feel that way to go ahead and start your discussion there and hope someone finds it rather then coming here to try to drag off FaunaClassifieds members elsewhere. There really is no law against doing that, but it is decidedly an unfriendly gesture and not exactly considered as a neighborly thing to do.
  4. Please learn how to use paragraph breaks and punctuation when you type in your posts. It makes it much easier for readers to follow, and the lack thereof may make your posting superfluous simply because people will refuse to attempt to read what it is you have posted.

I hope this clears the air about some things.

We got with you two in hopes to do a show that the vendors would enjoy. I think we did that. How on god's green earth were you going to do this without help? You two wanted to do business cards instead of fliers. You had no plans other than Reptiles Magazine for advertising.
Contact Rich Z and ask him who organized that ad.
Contact Lisa/Bob Smith and ask them who organized that ad.
Contact the printers and ask them who organized the fliers.
Contact the sponsors and ask them who contacted them.
Contact the vendors ask them who stayed in contact with them.
Contact Red Roof Inn ask them who contacted them.
Checkout all the forums see who posted and how long they have been members.

Who changed the vendor meal at the last minute? Jason C did because He did not want to take time out of his sucking up time( to the wrong people) to do so. The vendors were very upset with him because of this. Want proof? I have it.

How can you to even think you are quilified to go on TV to "educate" people on reptiles? You do not even own a reptile book! Or did you also lie about that too?
The only thing reptile related you own other that a few animal is Reptiles Magazine! You can not even sex you 9' redtail. Want proof? I have it! It does not take a expert to sex a large boa. You have no idea how to tell the difference between Malis and Nigers. Guess what you have?
You sell animals that you say are captive but are wild caught. I have proof. Want to see?

First off unless you recorded our phone conversations than you have no proof of them. As for emails i have emails from tony and you that you had sent to his buddies for getting into our business and calling you all disgruntled employees. We did not contact you, you contacted us.
If you would have read other things that i have posted on here we did thank you and did not want it to turn out this way. As for vendors everything we heard from them was nothing bad and if they have something to say than they do know how to reach us. We did not send an email to all the vendors trashing you, either now did we. As for working for us you wanted to help us and you never sent us the reciepts so we could even pay you back, if i remember correctly we had a deal with you and your kids that they get free tables.
Who said that they were going to drive up here and never did. Everytime we had to meet with you we drove up there. NOBody said you did not help as for the information on reciepts you refused to give us a copy so therefore we do not have. As for fliers we did want to put up fliers and you know that as well as i do.
As for me not knowing people who did i say i didnt know but know if this was my first show and what not. Who did we asssociate that had a bad reputation i am sure they would love to hear what you have to say about them. We associated with everyone and i see nothing wrong with whom we associated with.
When have we sold anything that was caught please share that with me. As for the meal we did not hear no complaints about how things were done except we need more crock pots. We have stayed in contact with vendors for your information. I got on here to defend ourselves due to you guys thrashing us after this show.
A lot of the vendors we did not email we actually contacted on the phone and talked with them, some we even went to see. You can sit there and say we did not do this and did not do that and post as many emails you would like and i will post all the ones i have. Point blank sorry we could not travel all the time due to us working and taking care of a child. Like i stated before Ill be the first to admit i make mistakes as well as Jason and by all means if you are perfect than so be it. As for us talking trash about you please let us know what we said, and for the vendors we did hang out with make sure you contact them stating they have bad reputations and if you state something that a vendor said than please have them contact us and tell us. It is funny if all this is being said it is all coming through you but none of the vendors has said anything to us.
Get over it we will be on tv and just because you think something does not mean everyone else will see it that way. I will post the emails and you can read them as long with everyone else. This is childish and really petty. There is a lot of things said about you from vendors but that was over the phone and sorry i do not record my conversations. Everyone is titled to an opinion and i think people can make their own decision about us and i have not hear any of them say anything bad, except information that you gave to people and tony did.

All I keep hearing from you is BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH you can't prove anything so why don't you just shut up already? You have what 2 maybe 3 vendors that doesn't like us?!? Get over it Lisa. We have a lot of friends that were vendors most of them would not have done the Columbia show if it was not for us. And kids.... hah yeah well, We the "Kids" (which I am only one year younger than you are WAY more intelligent than you could ever dream of honey) have been dealing with reptiles longer than you both put together and know what we are doing.

Word of advice: PROVE IT OR GET OVER IT AND SHUT UP ALREADY.
do the reptile world a favor and get out of it.

All right. I wasn't going to say anything-but: Who contacted me about doing the show? Jason Vander Waal. Who stayed in touch with me about doing the show? Cathy Elrod. She even mailed me a stack of fliers to distribute in my area. Who helped me unload my vehicle at the show? Danny Elrod. Who continuously checked on me during the show to see if I needed anything? Cathy, Danny, Jason, & Monica. As for leaving, they made sure I had plenty of help packing & reloading my vehicle. I must say that as a vendor, they made sure I was well taken care of. I never even met Lisa Campbell until later in the day. After the work was done. She could have never showed up, and wouldn't have been missed by most of the vendors. And I didn't know any of them until I was contacted about the show.
From what I've personally witnessed, I would not want to see Lisa Campbell on TV educating. I'm afraid she's going to make all reptile lovers look like fools. This type thing is just what we need to insure the NC banning bill on reptiles is passed.

Well, I don't know what to say, they have not replied on any of the boards after Audry Payne told them basically they were losers. And they have failed to reply to my last e-mail, as well as make their way over here to defend themselvs. But here's the kicker, we heard from another vendor that "was" talking to the "backer" for their last show. Apparently Jason Campbell told the "backer" that the building would cost 10,000$ and this is the Jamil Temple in Columbia we are talking about, it only costs 2400 dollars. Anyway, the "backer" found out what the Temple ACTUALLY cost, and is now pretty pissed at them. He also now knows he has more of his money and used more of his money then he (the "backer") thought. So YES they did buy that car, and YES they did buy that Albino Burmese Python and YES, those new shoes he was sporting at the show were also payed for by the "backer"

They also have NO BACKER for the next Columbia show they are setting up, in fact it is hear-say, but from a reliable source that they are getting vendors, and sponsors to send money. with no intention to ever put on a show. So before you even think of sending them a check for their July 16th and 17th show, just ask yourself.. "Do I really want to lose my money?" I would think the answer is NO.

let me just start with this. Jason I belive you still owe me $1500.00 from your pathetic excuse for a show you put on in north agusta pay up punk. I should have refused to pay at columbia. you offered me $500.00 for venomous escort,$500.00 for security , and $500.00 for promoting the show for you which I might ad you refused to pay for promotion so I backed out it was you who begged me to come back for the same pay. Jason campbell is a JOKE you asked me to vend columbia and I steered clear of you until I heard vendors and people were coming. I only attended because J&M Exotics stayed on top of things. they made me feel more comfortable about vending for you again. and now I will be vending there spartanburg show in july. Jason you can forget most vendors even considering your show you fool you are a rip off artist well I can't even say artist because you are caught again. oh by the way how's that new car your backer bought you. must be nice?

now let me get a story out for the public to hear. Jason put on a show in north augusta. well kind of it was more like 8 or 9 vendors sitting in a gym shooting the breeze LOL.I was told I would be paid for helping and was not as I stated earlier. I got your vendors I sorta did security didn't really need it. and I advertised your little show. did I get paid NO why because jason is a broke joke. I can prove that every vendor attending that show was dissatisfied do I need to NO everyone knows already. but if you want me to I will. I watched vendors pack there stuff and leave the very first few hours LOL you joke. for the entire duration of the show I was told I would receive $1500.00 at the close of the day sunday regardless. what happened at the end of the day. I was looking for you to get paid and watched you I repeat watched you jump in your car and speed away from the show grounds LOL. When I called you ignored me when I knocked on your door you refused to answer.
if anyone wants info on jason campbell please check the BOI for Campbell reptiles when you were selling WC balls as het for pied and got caught. STUPID.now you changed the name of your home based 3 animals tops buisness to east coast reptiles. come on .

now I hear you will be giving a talk to a local news crew about reptiles please you cant take good care of a corn snake if you think that me or some of the big names around here are going to sit back and watch you misrepresentate the reptile industry as a whole you are wrong. your best bet is to cancel the interview before we get in touch with WIS ourselves. I can sit here all day and tell people of your robbing and cheating ways . but I wont oh and by the way john still wants the money you owe for the ball you never paid for.


getting to the columbia show please jason you did nothing you brought me the flyers you were supposed to spread around columbia and I spread them because I wanted to make money myself while I was there. most of my customers who are reptile people for the most part had no idea there was even a show until I told them J&M exotics did everything including keeping in touch with me and the other vendors before the show and I was asked several times through out the show by the staff at J&M exotics how things were going as for a vendor lunch LMAO hot dogs PLEASE dude once again a cheap escape LOL.no cloth and drapes no vendor reception and vendors selling beer at a show I saw someone take a hit from a venomoid albino monocle let it hang on and showed symtems of a mild envenomation including a swollen arm on sunday. what a show a venomous snake should have never been allowed to be handled on the show floor venomoid or not after hours or not and there was alcohol involved. real responsible what about the people who owned the building how do we think they feel?
