    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ok, if i did ship them back and they were dead upon ryan receiving them. then what ? i killed them because i shipped them back ? then he still would have refused to refund $$ back

i have never said anything about them dying. except that they did die. it is unfortunate and is a direct result of conditions they were shipped in, age and health.

i have always from the day i recvd them - stated they were not what i paid for and definitely not what was posted in ryans ads.

i have posted quite a few of his emails, pics and responses from ryan and myself. i can't imagine anyone would think he is in the right at all - in any way shape or form. he has changed his story numerous times and can't even keep his lies that straight.

if by keeping them, trying to prevent them from dying in return shipping - you feel i did wrong, then i'm sorry you see it that way. this was a no win situation for me. if i did ship them back, they probably would not have survived, then he still would not refunded the money.

he NEVER offered for me to return them anyway. the only responses i received from him you can read on pg 5. nothing but smart ass remarks and no offer for a refund or return.

but I still think either way she would be out the cash. She could send them back now and make sure she gets the whole delivery confirm, signature confirm, return reciept yadayadayada. I do take pics of my animals before I ship, I take pics of the packaging, and the box labelled and all.

he is already stating in previous posts, that he doesn't believe the pics i posted of what i received from him is what he shipped me.

you give him too much credit - he would have never refunded the money.
 
Beth, when I look at these posts I GIVE NO ONE ANY CREDIT. I try to be totally objective. I don't consider the what if's. I consider the I did's. You did receive chameleons smaller then what you were promised. I (and no one else) doubts that. But, in my opinion (and I believe the laws) you screwed up by keeping them, and then trying to come-up with some number as to their value. If he AGREED to that number, you need to post that. But him trying to prove that 2 inch chameleons are worth the same amount or almost as much as 3 inch chameleons in court to a judge is only marginally more difficult then you trying to prove otherwise. Remember, the changes of you getting a judge that even knows what a panther chameleon is, is about a million to one.

Yes, he loses, here in the court of public opinion, But this and a court of law a two very different places.

I'll post another of my famous analogies: I order a 15' pool online. The pool comes in and is only 12'. I call the company and say, hey this pool is only 12' but I'm gonna keep it anyway. But because it's not what I ordered you need to send me 66% of my money back. Retail difference between the pools is only about 20% ..... you lose in court.

you have every right to your opinion, everyone does.

ok example: if you buy something from me and you're not happy with what you receive. you want to ship it back to me. i do not want it back or even offer for you to return it. (as in ryans case look at his emails he tells me i should be happy with what i recvd)are you just going to ship it back to me, put the lives of the animals at risk - just because in your opinion it's the right thing to do ? i would hope not. what if i do not accept it ? then whatever is inside dies .. right ??

if you are to ship something back, you have to have expressed approval for return - especially when dealing with live animals.

i'm not willing to put their lives at risk. would you ?
 
Beth, it's not about me. And it's not about "bashing" you. It's about trying to make sure it doesn't happen again.

What agreement did the two of you have in place before he shipped? Did you discuss what would happen if you weren't satisfied? Did you discuss returns? What guarantee (if any) did he give you in writting? The only one I saw that would hold up is the 3" inch thing.

The only thing I think you did wrong was trust him way to much. Like I said, he loses HERE. But you'll be very lucky to even get a detective to call you about this case. I know because I've tried it before. The chances of you getting your $200 or $175.50 or whatever back through the courts are pretty slim. The plane ticket to go up there will cost you more than he owes you. People like Ryan know that, and thats why they do crap like this.

Ryan, you seem to care at least a little about your reputation. If that is the case, you need to make this right. Because you know Beth got the short end of the stick on this deal. If you continue to deal in this manner, one day YOU WILL run into someone, who doesn't care how much it costs to bust your balls. THEY WILL make your life hell, and you'll wish there really wasn't such a thing as KARMA. Bottom line, YOU PROMISED 3" CHAMELEONS, you did NOT send 3" chameleons. Send her the chameleons or refund her the $175.50 (frankily, I think you should send the whole $200 and maybe even $300).
 
i know you are not "bashing" me ..... i know who did me wrong and that person is ryan. i would have never began this post if that wasn't the case.

ok... i have the upper hand here and people like ryan shouldn't assume that someone wouldn't not follow through because they do not know what advantages the other person may have. maybe i have a little more of an edge because - i am from MI i have plenty family up there to stay with, borrow a car, raid the frig and the fact that i worked for an airline for 10 years leaves me with many friends whom i can obtain a pass to fly. so, that eliminates the expenses - aside from my time involved. because this involves the ATTY GENERAL and due to the problems up there with situations like this they are very interested in seeing this through, they will handle this on my behalf. if for some reason they direct me another way - i have plenty of connections back home. but somehow after discussing this with them today - this matter is not taken lightly.

i would hope that people like ryan and ryan himself - will realize if he doesn't already - he flat out screw up. and when you fraud someone like myself - that i just may not let it go.

every industry has it's thieves - too bad there is not an easier way to get rid of them all !!!
 
hi beth i was just reading all this and am glad i saw that ryan is not a respectable breeder as i was looking into buyibg a chameleon. also i was wondering what the outcome of this situation was. did he do the right thing and refund your money

Did you ever get the photos of the deceased chameleons transferred to your hd? You mentioned that some cats destroyed the USB cord, right? Did you ever buy a new one?

As stated in an earlier post, these chameleons should have never been shipped in the first place! Look at all of the herps that suffer due to greed.
 
No, Ryan has never made this right ... as a matter of fact I have not heard from him since his last post here. I have heard back from the MI Atty General and I'm waiting for a follow-up from them. As a matter of fact, I think I'll call them today and see if they have made any contact with him.

I went to the Daytona show last weekend and purchased 3 females and 1 male. 2 females 5 months old were from Jim at Amazing Blue Reptiles and 1M 4 months old/1F 3 months old from Connie at Arboreal Exotics. I'm still looking for more females.

It is amazing (LOL) how a 3 month old in person is 10 times bigger than a 3 month old is according to Ryan.

I do have the pic of the 2nd baby that died on my camera disc. I am still waiting for the cord from Toshiba. Apparently the camera I have from them was only made for a short period of time and any replacement parts are now special order. But, definitely, once I get this cord I will post the pic. Not that it will make a difference in Ryan making this right.

From the beginning, all I ever asked Ryan to do is to refund $200 of the $300 I paid him - because he shipped me 1-2 week olds and not the 2-3 month old sexed pair that I paid him for. I know he has paid out good money for other panthers that he has recently purchased. It's too bad he took my money to pay for them - as well as others I'm sure. The other option Ryan had was to replace the babies with what I actually ordered. But that never happened either.

Bottom line - he is a theif. Taking $$$ and not shipping what was promised. The fact that they died is a direct result of an inexperienced 20 year old kid, thinking he is a breeder and lacking experience. In his own statement he said three is no difference in shipping 2 month olds or 2 year olds. But mine were maybe 2 week olds - they arrived very dark and stressed. You're right - they should have NEVER been shipped at that age. Panthers are so much more fragile than veilds. Once I hear what the Atty General is doing - I will follow through with civil court.

I only hope that with these new panthers he purchased and breed that he does not do the same thing - risking the health and well being of the babies to make a quick buck.....

But i also believe that if the two chameleons in the picture that Beth posted on the ruler are the one's Ryan shipped.... do the right thing Ryan, refund Beth her money or send her the correct pair she initially paid for.

If you read the posts from the beginning, i responded to ads Ryan posted on several different sites. I sent numerous emails and spoke to him several times before I paid him. I sent him Paypal $300 for a sexed pair of nosey be panthers that were supposed to be 3 months old and 3-4" long. What i recvd is 2-2 week old panthers - impossible to tell the sex. Yes, they are the panthers on the ruler that i posted.

I contacted Ryan immediately - informing him that I was unhappy and that he did not ship me what i paid for. What he told me I was an idiot if i did not know that female panthers have a pink stripe and males have a white stripe. He said he ran out of his larger panthers so he shipped me what he had left and that I should be very happy with what i received. Except I had no idea of what i recvd, except that they were maybe 2 weeks old.

Ryan refused to refund any money at all or for me to ship them back to him. Which I do not know that I would have done that - because they would have probably died and he would have blamed me for that. They both died 7 days later anyway.

I originally asked Ryan for $200 back, this was before they died - he refused. Then I asked for the full amount back because they died or for him to replace them - he refused as you can read in the previous posts. He feels he did nothing wrong and that I killed them. Of course it had nothing to do with them being maybe 2 weeks old, shipping them in extreme heat and packing that they were tossed around in. Yep, had nothing to do with it - they arrived very dark and thin. You saw the pics !!

Ryan could care less what anyone here has to say - he is a 20 year old kid, living with his parents - whom apparently do not care what he is doing - because his father was called and informed about this. He does not care or understand that you cannot ship panthers that young and expect them to survive. He is only out to steal $$ from people and has no concern for the health and safety of his animals.

It would be a great forth coming on his part to step up and make this right. But as you can see - he could care less. I will pursue this in court with him, just waiting for the MI Atty General to respond to the complaint. Also waiting for Toshiba to send me the cord, so I can post the pic of the dead baby. I never took a pic of the 1st one - I was so ticked off, I wasn't thinking and threw it away. But I do have one of the 2nd baby.

Please watch for ads on other sites posted by him "ryan67stang" or "ryan67" - he seems to use all the free sites to post. I know for a fact that he has acquired more adult panthers and is breeding them. He will be selling them in the upcoming months ....

Actually if you look back on page 5 I had posted the sites and postings he had done. They were all either listed under CHAMELEONS or LIZARDS.

I know after this came out, most of the sites he posted on pulled his ads. I had copied and saved them thankfully before this happened. It appeared he posted on No-Fee sites. But hey with the $$$ he has accumulated from screwing people over like me - he may just start paying to list his ads.

I am still in contact with the MI Atty General and will continue to persue this.
