Make that going back and forth for DAYS. I just looked at it again.
Back and forth. That means you continued the conversation. You could have gracefully bowed out at any time. There is never a reason to talk to a customer the way you did. Some customers ask a lot of questions, some more than others.
You can gain a lot of goodwill by talking to customers and while they may not buy this time, they may remember your help at some future time.
If you really feel that the questions or emails were excessive, as I said you could have graciously ended the conversation.
