    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

any of the other threads about Ryan, but did I read correctly here, that you adopted in some unsellable Hogg Island Boas, due to a diagnosed nervous condition, and you then SOLD them? If I misread the post, sorry, if I did not, as far as I am concerned, you are obviously in this hobby only to make a quick buck, and that is very sad.

BTW, Ryan got more waring points for that last post. This time maybe he'll be happy it was just a warning. You'd think after paying $70 in fines here that he'd either see some value in it (despite his claims to the contrary) or learn to control his toilet.

I'm going to point something else out.

I just started reading through that thread from over a year and a half ago posted by Mark. Not only did I receive mites with those animals I got from him, when I inquired about the retic possibly having a RI, he just blows it off. "Disregard that question" And everybody does. Once you're into the Fauna elite, if the finger is pointed at you, you can just brush it off and the rest of the crew will be there to help deflect the dirt. And I just started noticing how many times I've been called an idiot, moron, retard, my intelligence questioned, so many miscellaneous insults, the dreaded "profanity". And most of these people have don't even have any warning points. Because they're saying what is obviously the popular speech around here. Opposed to my unpopular speech. Except for Wus, that guy has more points and fines than anyone but he still runs his mouth on every thread and his buddies are always "right behind him". It's so hypocritical, it's hilarious.

And because I have to defend myself, since it's useless to try to rebutt what these people say and in all truthfullness not even worth the time and effort, the truly stand-up, "famous" people avoid this site like the plague. Think about that. How many really well-known and undisputedly professional and knowledgeable people do you see anywhere near this site? I can't think of one. They don't come here because they know it's a joke too. Face it guys, this site is second class. It's the poor man's Kingsnake. Not really sure why I keep putting up with this and feeding into it but yes, I'm here too. I don't claim to have reached anywhere near their great accomplishments...yet. But I have done deals with more people than I can remember. Including alot of the best. And ALL have been cool people who I have enjoyed doing business with, learning from and sharing my own experiences with. Many from this site. I have many references that will tell you in private. They have enough sense not to get wrapped up in this garbage. Guess there are a few more things I could stand to learn.

Out of all these deals, one went wrong, 3 years ago. And I fully admit to the easily understandable and forgiveable mistake I made. The EVIDENCE speaks for itself. People with common sense see how you people work and don't put any value on your word. Congratulations. That's all your own doing. And as far you that continuously spit your stupidity at anyone unfortunate enough to fly through your web, which is so relatively few of you that you don't even count. Thank you for making yourself known. You would be a huge pain in the ass to deal with. I'm glad I don't need to worry about the displeasure. And I haven't even noticed one of you that deals with a single animal that I personally find interesting in the least. So the thought of losing a person to deal with in the future is null and void. These were just a few details I left out last night. I hope whenever people do a search for my name and find this thread, they have the good sense to draw the very obvious conclusion if they haven't already. Cause I know how many great people there are in this thing. I've met so many of them and look forward to meeting so many more. Ryan.

Kathy Love -- She just posted here yesterday or the day before.

Michael Cole -- I've seen him a time or three

Ben Siegel -- more a retailer/importer but also has a burgeoning breeding operation.

Isis Reptiles -- they produce some fine pythons and colubrids

Anthony Caponetto posts here from time to time. He produces some awesome Morelia and crested geckos.

Corey Woods -- can't deny he's well known in Ball Python circles.

How about Kelli Hammack and many other "big name" Leopard Gecko breeders?

Alex Hue -- well known and respected breeder and broker.

Oh, how about Rich Z? He was and is fairly "known". But he owns this site. So how about asking where all the "name" breeders are who don't own their own forum?

I am going to take a constructive swing at explaining the reason you receive the responses you do on this site. This post is meant to inform, not chide or berate so take it in that spirit.

Both of the incidents that you refer to showed incredibly bad judgement on your part. They are really not defensible and were just fundamentally wrong. You screwed up big time...stated fact, not opinion.

That said, all of us have had lapses in good judgement and done things incorrectly from time to time. Human nature,,,,,we are all subject to it.

Your real failing is in how you dealt with both issues. Rather than admitting you were in the wrong, you decided to go on a rant of denial and attack everyone who was involved with those threads. You were absolutely incapable of admitting fault and basically spent page after page acting like a petulant child.

Look at your warning point totals. I know you like to make light of them but they show a pattern of immaturity from day one.

You have on a number of occasions used your age as a defense for some of your actions. You need to put aside that particular excuse and start taking responsibility for your bad decisions. A person who is attempting to conduct business can't really resort to those kind of excuses.

Lastly, I'll restate something I have said on many occasions before. The true measure of a good businessman is not how many good deals he has had....it is in how he resolves the problems that occasionally and inevitably arise

The reason Doni was questioned was because of the appearance of the post (that large font was a bit irritating), the lack of any real info in the post, the fact that he was new to Fauna (that being his very first post in fact), and of course the fact that it came hard on the heels of your most recent suspension. That all, coupled with your history of bypassing suspensions had to strike some even not so cynical folks as being at least a little suspicious.I know that it did me.

Now, it has been shown by the mods that his IP is unique and resolves to Idaho. That's a good indication that he isn't you. From reading his posts it seems he did not read the threads regarding you before buying and admitted that he would not have done so if he had known then what he knows now. And he asked that he be judged on his own merits, not yours. Fair enough.

Your mistakes could possibly be forgiven if two things happen. We see more people posting about really good deals that they have transacted with you. Doni's posts are a step in that direction. If and when he produces morphs from the hets I do hope that he posts here. If he does not after two clutches, I hope that he posts that you honored the genetics guarantee and repurchased the animals. Since you are selling hets that you did not produce, you should know that is always a risk. That is why I (speaking only for myself) would be very reluctant to sell hets that I did not produce myself. If you got them from Ralph himself then you have absolutely nothing to worry about I am sure.

The second thing that needs to happen is that you need to do some growing up and learn how to control that nasty temper of yours. If you spoke the way that you do in person I guarantee that you would have your head handed to you on a regular basis. Not by me perhaps, but certainly by some Neanderthal with even less impulse control than you seem to own. Go take some anger management classes, get therapy, or do what you must. You can chalk mistakes up to being "young" for only so long. After that you need to stand up, be a man, and own them.

Now ponder this if you will. Tosha, remember her? Your friend Tosha, the one who thinks you are "cool". She has a hard time here mostly because of her character and attitude. You came here on your horse and valiantly tried to rescue her. You made enough "mistakes" in one post to get suspended. Read that post again. Do you think that post which you made in her "good guy" thread helped her in any way? Is it possible that someone who is contemplating a deal with her in the future will see that and think better to stay away from her and her attack dog?

Think about it. Don't answer. Just think about it calmly. And then ponder this piece of advice: perhaps it's best to work on your own issues and reputation before you attempt to repair someone else's and do them more harm than good.

If you are still following this thread, I would say that John has taken the time to give you some great advice. He did not have to. He could have just railed on you like many others have, but he did not. I would take it to heart and put it into action. Lets also not forget Jim's words of wisdom. I understand your frusteration, but you surely must know that you have brought most of it on yourself (and needlessly I might add). So in short, I am all for positive change, and hope you use both John and Jim's advice. Good luck.
 
And I greatly appreciate all of your rational and mature comments. Tune sure does change the minute you have your name uttered in a negative context though doesn't it? Am I allowed to find that peculiar? I'm more than willing to lay off if you guys are willing to take a step back and look at yourselves, as I have also done on more than one occasion. And keep your comments to EVERYONE rational and not so aggressive. Sound familiar? That's the only thing I've ever stressed. That had been my point and could even be called a plea. Take it easy. There is no reason for anyone to be completely railroaded over minor, petty things. And you seriously just make yourselves look so... off the mark you're trying to hit (I can't think of a better term). Very few people ever do anything to deserve the treatment the group of you give to them. If you would be respectful, so would your "pupils". And they'd (myself included) be so much more receptive to your advice, if that's what it is you're actually attempting to do. I'm sure of it. Doesn't that make sense?

Re-read my post, carefully, with an open mind. When you come on and start hurling poo at "them" and "those guys" and announce how you are going to keep telling people to "shut up" you automatically lose credibility for anything else that you say. That's a given. Don't like it, oh well that's life in the big city.

I presented a road map whereby you could restore your reputation. That's not the only way but think about this question (a la Dr. Phil): how's what you're doing now working for you? If you like the results, keep doing it. If not, learn from your errors. They are only mistakes if you refuse to learn from then (adapted from words of another of Fauna's finest).

I appreciate intelligent humor. I couldn't care less if it's aimed at me. I have to admit, that last one was witty Jim. The reason why Springer is so poular though (like, Baywatch popular) is because so many people can relate to it in some way or another.
 
By the way, I would much rather be on Springer anyway. Dr. Phil's a pussy. (DO NOT FINE ME. DR. PHIL IS NOT ON THIS FORUM.)
