    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This day started out good as I seen this interesting Lav het with its head out of its egg. I noticed it yesterday but all I could see was a little pattern on its side, then when it came part way out today I was very excited, but noticed that it was very small and most of it yolk was still in the egg.( I spent most of my day trying to convince myself he would be fine) I got home from a nice dinner and went to check on the little guy and found him dead :eek: :censored: Im posting a few pics let me know what you guys/girls think, he was from a Lav male to a normal female. (who I will definitely be pairing up again)

The first pic he is the bottom left corner

The only thing I know for sure was he would have been 100% het Lav, dont know if that pattern and stripe is a fluke or not, hopefully I will find out next year.

Thats too bad, it is an incredible lookin snake, sorry for the loss and hope you see a snake like that again next season, healthy and thriving of course.

Oh NO!!!! So sorry to hear that! I don't know if your little guy was anything genetic, but I do know that when one is premature or still-born (thinking more boa--live offspring) many times they have a wild pattern. My buddy just had a litter of motley boas. One was still-born, much smaller than the rest and looked like it had to be a super....even though the sire was just a motley and the dam was a normal??

At least the rest of the clutch looks like they'll thrive! Sorry for your loss, but good luck with the rest!!

sorry for your loss and has any one noticed that when a snake dies when in a egg and when you look at it its this crazy looking one

I'm so sorry to hear that you lost him. He was the one that I was really looking forward to seeing. Cause you could tell he really looking different even before he came out of the egg. He is great looking. Hopefully you can get something like him again next year. Good luck!

Aww, sorry to hear Bob :( He was a neat little dude, it is always sad to lose one. At least the rest of the babies still look good though!
