    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I went to Little Rock, Arkansas on vacation, soon to be moving here. Went to the local pet shop to check it out. Need to find where I'll be getting my feeders from, maybe buy something. Always like to help local small business if I can. I felt sick when I was there. Every reptile either had mites, stuck sheds, insanely underweight...just disgusting. When I say mites, I mean a ton. On an Albino. Not very hard to spot. In that same enclosure, 3 normal BPs. Skinny as hell. Stuck sheds on tails and heads. Urates and feces EVERYWHERE in EVERY tank. Older stuck eyecap on a Normal adult BP, looks like it may either shed again or is just way too dry. Couldnt tell. No thermometer or hydrometer in ANY tank. Little bearded dragon had to climb to a ledge all the way at the top of his tank just to get heat. Then I saw on their FB page they vend at shows as well! Needless to say, I'll continue to buy from my normal breeders in Florida. Can't believe someone hasn't reported this place yet. Safari Pets in Cabot, Arkansas.

Mites? I see dirty enclosures, improper cohabitation of animals and proof of improper humidity levels, but I might need to get the magnifying glass to see the same amount of mites on that albino that you say you're seeing..

In one enclosure they had 4 bp's. Asked the age was stated at 1 year old. Don't carry around scales with me, but I've seen and weighed enough to "guestimate". The largest could not have been over 250g. So either they didn't know how old they were, or were malnourished.

I see the mites on the albino. One is even crawling up the water dish towards the snake. Those are horrendous conditions. That poor ball with that stuck shed on its entire head must be absolutely miserable. This is where it kills my heart. It makes me want to run out and just buy all of them for heaven's sake and take care of them properly. On the other end of this double edge sword all it does is just further motivate sellers to be able to continue on with these disgusting practices.

In the first picture of the albino, is that a dead or dying boa hanging over the water dish? Really horrible conditions for those animals, some people just don't deserve to have animal's.

Please take the apostrophe out of animal's. Sorry, can't help it any more. It's a mistake that has become way too common among Americans.

Nothing worse than all the follow the leader sheeple starting their sentence with so. They can save on both jaw strain,and carpel tunnel by leaving it out.;)

Very sad how many shops keep their animals!
