In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello, I'm new to this forum but not to leopard geckos, I've owned several in the past. I've decided I'd like to purchase some babies but I don't know where. I've found Big Apple Herps, which I've heard good and lots of bad things, Reptmart which I haven't heard much about, but it all seemed to be good and then I found Reptiles by Mack which had nothing but good reviews and seems to be the most reliable. If anyone has had experience purchasing leopard geckos from any of these sites I would love to hear about it!

Thanks,

-Bobby

My best advise is to search classifieds and when you find different breeders or wholesale websites (like Big Apple) that you are interested in, search for them on the BOI (Board of Inquiry: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13) for reviews, read as much as you can about them, good and bad, to base your decision off of that. You may also search for local reptile clubs in your area for small hobby breeders or visit some of the reptile shows that happen in Florida.

We can't get into too much details on specific businesses in the discussion forums since vendor reviews belong on the BOI.

Good luck in your search!
