    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Safe to feed on paper towels?

He is a very gorgeus snake... I hope everything is going to work out. I dont really have any advice to give. There aren't any vet herps in the area anymore. Id have to take the 3hr trip to Boston should a problem arise...
 
UPDATE!
He passed a green nugget the diameter of a pen cap and about a half inch long, and a blob of urates about 1.5 times that size. It was accompanied by plenty of semi-clear fluid, and looks (other than the coloration on the feces) like a rather normal defecation.
The amount of fluids passed is a bit of a relief, because I take that (along with his appearance) to indicate that he's remaining well-hydrated.

That's terrific! Sounds like he'll be just fine now.


It's kind of funny that once you become parents or pet owners poop takes on a whole new meaning...and we don't even mind!:rofl:
 
He's gone now. Apparently today he found it to be too uncomfortable, and commenced a regurg attempt. He brought it up to about an inch behind his jawbones and died there.

I knew the paper towel still had to go somewhere, but I was keeping my fingers crossed that it would come after the bowel movement you posted about. I'm very sorry about the outcome...but there really wasn't much you could have done.
(too bad she didn't spit it out after the first few days, though)
