    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Wanted Salamanders within Illinois!

It has come to my attention that there is a ban on interstate transport of 201 salamanders. That is a lot of little cuties! I've been searching everywhere to find a place where I can get some salamanders, but because of this ban I'm afraid I can't have any shipped to me from other states. :shrug01:

So because of this, I'm looking for anyone who is selling Salamanders (or newts) within Illinois! I live in the Chicago area, so I hope that I get a few responses. I really wanted to get a marbled salamander, but any salamander will do. Please email me at [email protected] or PM me here. Thanks you guys!!

please read the actual species list regarding this- many are assuming too much or too little- read for your self and be clear.
Triturus Marmoratus- marbled newt is banned
Ambystoma Opacum- marbled salamander is not banned
Realize some states already have in place some preexisting laws- check your state laws.

This is interim ban, final language will change
Read the language aside from the species list.
