In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Made this today for an early supper. Steamed some mixed veggies to go with it. I was at work earlier in the week and seen an article and thought, Been awhile since I made those. In laws don't want to wait for wife to drop off so came by and grabbed them up. Pretty tasty and my taste buds enjoyed something other than chicken, beef, pork or pizza.

3 5-ounce cans salmon skinless and boneless
2 green onions thinly sliced
1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
1 egg lightly beaten
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce aff
½ teaspoon Garlic salt
¼ teaspoon Black pepper
1 tablespoon Canola oil
1 tablespoon butter

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except oil and butter. Stir to combine and then with your hands, form patties. Use an ice cream scoop (aff) for easy portioning. Flatten them into ½” patties. (Should make about 8-10 patties)

Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet over medium-medium low heat. Add some of the patties to the hot skillet (don’t crowd the pan - you want at least an inch between patties). It it seems like the patties are browning too quickly, reduce the heat. Cook 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden and crispy on both sides. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain. Repeat until all patties are cooked through.

Forgot, I used salmon that still has skin and bones. Adds texture and crunch.
