Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I recently made a purchase from Sam Calami for the King Cobra as referenced in his 12-12-08 post. He has since defalted on the transation. It has come to light that Sam was not the owner of this snake or any of the snakes that he has posted so BUYER BEWARE.

Sam's ad actually says "snake is sold. Thanks Dave!". I presume you are the "Dave" that he has referred to in the ad?

Have you received a full refund? Do you have any emails that would explain just why the deal fell through and why he is claiming he has the snakes to sell and is placing the ads, when now you say he does not?

I'm not doubting your word, it would just be good to have something to back you up.
 
This guy will default on anything. I've never dealt with a person who will blatantly tell you he's gonna buy from you and then just not hear back. Best - I sold him a pied female ( a nice one ) she did not lay for him so she went up for sale , I'd say 1 month after getting her from me.
Not only did she go up for sale ( I ) tried contacting him on getting her back. No reply for almost a month --- I just gave up at that point. Then Sam calls me on an add I have for some other ball pythons. We shoot the s***. And he then offers the pied to me??? Wtf?? Ok but I need 3 weeks to round up that cash is this ok for you?
Sam was like hell ya.. Told me all about his pet rescue ( where he gets hell of free normals and he can use the hell out of those on high end snakes). Neat buddy.. Anyways -- I was a week away from full dollar amount when he tells me. Ya I plan on breeding her next year - if I do sell her though . I'll only sell to you bro. Lol. I'm just like huh? What ever, enough of the games and run arounds..

Anyways -- beware -- your just gonna waste a great deal of valuable time and breath on this guy
 
I recently had a transaction with Sam. I bought a female ghost corn snake from him a couple weeks ago. Communication was top notch. I received emails and and spoke with Sam on the phone, letting me know that the snake will be shipped as soon as its last meal digested. The snake arrived in good health. The only issue was that it was a male, not a female. I was offered a full refund on the animal, but I decided to keep him, so Sam sent me a partial refund anyway and apologized several times. This was my first and only purchase from Sam and I was more than pleased with the overall process. Just wanted to share my experience.

Did you send money, and if so did you receive a refund? I too would like to see emails detailing the transaction, as well as some facts backing up your assertion that he is not the owner.
 
I'll take pics of all the e-mails and texts and put them up as soon as possible. As far as Sam having the said snake... He has the pied currently? That's why I brought up the fact he was so flakey / wishy washy with sales transactions, just an all out waste of time.

I would also like to see some proof of accusations, but unfortunately the OP posted this more than 4 years ago, unless they have an awesome file record then I wouldnt know how likely it would be that the OP would still have the emails :(
 
This is Yvette. I am 90% Owner of Heavenly Creatures Of The Earth Amphibians/Reptiles LLC. Mr. Dave Brummel, I recall you and Sam having a bad experience on Sam's part, but at the same time I did make it right w/ you through a Loan I had to get which was paid back in a Money Order Form. Would you like me to post that? I guess you forgot that part. I still have it. I assure as 90% Owner that Sam to date has done no bad deals as everything, buying or selling, goes through me. I assure that with all that I have. May I remind everyone that we are a LICENSED LLC BUSINESS IN ALL STATES. Anytime anyone feels the need to want to stop by, write or call they can contact me. We are ashamed of nothing or do we have anything to hide and may I remind everyone again, we are Legal. I am sorry Mr. Brummel you had to go through that, it would have been horrible. I see positive in Sam and know he has changed. He went through a bad time. Have not we all. I sure have. He deserves a second chance and that is what I have given him. If for one minute I did not believe in Sam or see the potential that he has, I would have never formed a Business with him. I believe in what we have and I believe in what we do. As for the Pie Bald, yes we do have her and are keeping her. We did purchase her from Isaac for along w/ a Spider Male for $1,500.00 cash. She has never been up for Sale. Isaac, this is Yvette. I do not know what is going on w/ you two but I know I see two great minds with a hell of a lot in common going to shit. Why this between you two, I will never understand but I do know that is not how Friend's act. We are not Breeding Him or Her. We are though Homing them, loving them and feeding them. No more, no less. I do not know what to say. I have said before as much as you hate it and keep seeming to bad mouth us, we are a Legal Business. We are a well established LLC and we are going to keep doing what we do. Why all of you can't get along and work together and get over this is so childish. On my part, I apologize. For what, I don't know. We are sorry for any mis communication there was, thanks again, Yvette 971-313-3930. As for FaceBook, we encourage all to like it or hate it. We do not discriminate from any comments. In fact we encourage People to post there settings and Amphibians/Reptiles. We love anything and all. So... is everyone just going to skip over the part where op is most likely from San Pedro, California?
Non-native Venomous are illegal to own in California without proper permits, which op makes no mention of.
