• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi, I've been looking around for a sand cat kitten to no avail. I'd really like to find a breeder in the US. So far the only sand cat breeder website that I've found is http://www.continentalbengals.com/consort.htm in the Czech Republic. I sent them an email yesterday asking if they still breed sand cats but I haven't gotten a reply yet. Anyway, any info would be appreciated!!

I would wait till you move before looking to purchase any illegal animal. No reputable breeder or even backyard breeder would dare to ship to a state /city where an animal is or may be illegal.

Be sure to check your state AND city laws of where you're moving to also. :)

Yes, I realize this. I'd just like to start looking now so that when I move into my new place a contract might be soon underway. I know it can sometimes take time getting an animal when you take into account possible waitlists and/or shipping from abroad. I'm also thinking that it will take me quite a bit of time to even find a breeder. The one in the Czech Republic doesn't ship to the US anymore I've heard.
