In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Spent the month of May on Sanibel Island with Pim. Was a pretty good time, but the water wasn't as clear as I would have liked it. Storms blew lots of seaweed in as well as got the water pretty disturbed. So no snorkeling again this year.

Yeah, I know. Taking a vacation from being retired. Just doesn't seem right.....

Anyway, here are a couple of videos I took using a drone. Flew over to the light house which was about a mile from where we were staying, then back up the beach to about a mile west of us.

I remember going to Sanibel in the 60's. You had to get there by ferry. It sticks in my mind for the amazing amount of shells and starfish. I also caught a coachwhip on the beach there around 2010.

Out of the month, there were only about 5 days where shell collecting was really good. At first I thought we were going to get skunked. But those 5 days were REALLY good for collecting decent shells.
