    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi Sara, you forgot about me ;-)

It's not a huge deal but when you say your going to buy something (just some wood...remember?). Then send it back saying that you couldn't afford the $60 that was fine. But when you do it, and I have to pay $20 for shipping (again...not much $$$). You should have paid the shipping. Again, not much money...it's just the point. But you ignored my emails...I didn't really care, just the point! Then I had to send it out again to sell it so I had to pay $40 just for shipping. I thought it was just a :NoNo:

Just thought i'd say something on here because I was going to make a thread about 2 months ago about this.

I really hope you learn from these mistakes you "inadvertently" made.

Sara, I think you need to SERIOUSLY examine your priorities. If you can't pay your necessity bills....it's time to SELL some animals. Not get more.

I'm thinking that a lot of what sara says is just not true, lies in fact.

I think part of her wishes to preserve some sympathy of those who know her, afterall who wants those you considered friends, er prey, to know you're a scumbag? Much better for them to think you just stumbled on hard times and will be bootstrapping yourself up in the near future. It doesn't hurt so much to have become a betrayer.

That she could just mail it back to me or buy it from me in a couple of weeks when she said she would have the money to buy her own. I think it was the 17th of December she said she had a show and would get it back to me then.

I have never heard a word back from her since she confirmed receiving it in the mail. I figured with the Holidays around the corner money might have been a little tight still and did not think too much about it. But then it got well past New Years and I still have not received any kind of communication or update from her. Then it became pretty apparent to me that she had no intentions of returning it or buying it.

I was not even going to bring it up until I saw Harold's thread here. I just figured for $30 I got a good reminder to not trust anyone anymore.

Shrap- I know this post is about a month old, but I have an ESU (Out of the box, but was only used for about a week) thermostat if you would like me to send it to you. I really hate to see generous people get the short end of the stick. That is a very nice of you to offer, but I must decline. It was never about the thermostat itself in the first place. It was a matter of principle. As I said before, I had no intentions at all of brining it up publicly until I seen Harald's thread and seen a pattern of behavior. I just didnt want to see anyone else get taken advantage of.

Thanks again for the kind gesture though Chris. It really is appreciated.
 
Well I am not done with Sara. Last year she bought a hatchling from me. It was one of my holdbacks (Goliath), this tegu was twice the size as any of the others. I did not really want to sell him, but Sara contacted me and wanted one real bad. The agreement was is she ever sells this tegu he is to come back to me.

The other day I got an email from one of my buyers, he sent me this:

Suddenly, when I put my hand in his cage and leave it, he just crawls out from wherever he is and crawls onto my hand. My family has even been handling him a little. He's been consistently doing this all week, so I don't think there's a problem anymore.

Also, since I know you are on the BOI, I think I should ask you about an ad I found. I found the bigger tegu on the classifieds here, and bought it at a local reptile show after emailing the seller. He was at the show with Sara Gatto, and she gave me her 30 day health guarantee even though it was her friend that was selling it( he was also at the show). Anyway, I found an ad at ReptileAuction.com for the same exact tegu from the same seller. The description is 99% the same as the one posted here, and the picture that he links to is the same as the one that he linked to here. I don't know what he's trying to pull.

I have tried to contact her to see if it was true, I have gotten no response.

Now there is someone posting pictures of a very large tegu for it's age on another site. The name of this very large tegu is Goliath.

Sara, this is not even close to being right, yet again you have broken trust with a friend.
 
Oh man Bobby....that stinks. REALLY STINKS.

I had a similar thing happen to me a couple of years ago, with a miniature horse that I was EXTREMELY attached to, and it just breaks my heart to think about him to this day.

However, I am all most 100% sure the tegu was a male I sold her. I am just wondering if this is the same person seen with her at the show?

Either way, I am betting she no longer has the animal that was to come back to me. Yea Sara, you are a real champion.
 
She never did make things right with me. The day she made things right with Harald she PMed me saying she was going to either send me the money or the thermostat. Neither has happened nor have I heard from her since that day.
